laundering by funding your own project? i don't get it
throw the money in as somebody else, when it gets kicked back out, the money has come from a source not directly linkable to you. ex: I set a project with a goal of 20000 and I from a variety of accounts make large "charitable" donations to this. So long as the the kickstarter accounts aren't immediately recognizable as myself or a puppet person controlling it, the money comes in "cleaned" as the kickstart payout. Thats just one of a few possible ways.

10 years later and I'm still watching this due to how unbelievably baffling it is.
It took me a while to figure it out, sort of like the lore to silent hill or something, you really have to dig deep and lay it all out and piece it together:
Basically what they was trying to do is make an app for bidding on photographs, they are mainly based around Photography (hence the originalphotodesign website name). So, you get on the app and basically place a bid for a photo you want, and eventually you can win it for your own personal use. The misconception that threw everyone off is, they are using this thick sexy Italian girl in every photo, so its making it come off as they are trying to make some kind of porn app where you vote on this girl in these different places or whatever and win it for "personal use"; when in reality she was just a model posing to demonstrate context. The demonstration is just so obsessed and centered around her that its really hard to understand anything beyond it being for soft-core porn.
They obviously did not do a good job of explaining their app fundamentally, and I'm glad they didn't because its hilariously awful. Besides the app itself is pointless, there's google image search and sites like Shutterstock if you want legit photographs to use for something.

I have watched this video multiple times and I was growing concerned for my own ability to comprehend because I still couldn't figure out what the hell was going on in this project. Granted the curvy fake Italian girl was some nice eye candy but they really shot themselves in the foot by trying to over-sexualize this app. It just came off as Skinamax photo album rather than a legit photo auction site.
