I got mine!
My mom has this and absolutely loves it. I think I will pick one up for myself too. Seems like a good price point for me.
Fact check:
It is low-resolution (200 dpi).
Its photo print quality is low. Half-tones are reproduced as dotted textures with a visible pattern.
This printing technology is old. Ever heard of fax machines or seen receipt printers in stores?
In addition, I can subjectively add that the quality is not great. The hardware is sleek but, in my experience, their Windows drivers have bugs. I just got this printer and was hoping to also use it to print shipping sticker labels, my issue is that while it has the little brackets and fits 4x6 stickers perfectly the BT a it comes with called "PeriPage" does not allow you to change the size of the paper to print, they want you to only by their label printers which I already have and was hoping to use this portable one with my wife when selling jewellery at shows., im using Mac so I cant tell if they limited the software but printing with Mac cant see this thing.
