Beautiful video. It had the feel of a stylish 1960s film. My wife, daughter and I are about to take our first trip to Norway this weekend (Bergen). Looking forward to seeing a small part of your beautiful country.
Such a good video. I especially enjoyed the portion at the end from Oslo University Hospital. It would be wonderful to see a documentary about this type of “healing” that’s done in Norway. Thank you ❤️🇳🇴❤️
It is beautiful and very pleasant and excellent.. The harmony of ideas and creativity in this project is designed and implemented just like the very beautiful and free climate of Norway. It shows the free feeling and friendship of the building with the surrounding nature. I am and I would really like to pair with a familiar Norwegian artist.. Please help me to express my inner feeling.
I love that buildings in Norway look like now and that they are for the many, not the few : the Oslo showhouse, the Twist bridge, the Oslo sickhouse. They are open for all. Snøhetta also did Le Monde’s highrise in Paris which looks like a block of ice standing on water. The Artic Cathedral looks like a hill covered with snow and the Oslo showhouse looks like a hill of ice. They blend in the landscape, they don't stick out. There’s also the Under Restaurant, the Øvre Forsland waterwork riseup and Statoil’s headbuilding that looks like a stack of boards. I loved it in Occupied. The Atlantic Ocean Road is in the last James Bond, the Juvet landscape hotel in Ex Machina and there's also gonna be the Čoarvemátta. All cool stuff. Are you guys looking to hire a newswriter at Visit Norway, lol ?
love your comment - you captured the whole essence of many modern buildings and structures in Norway - inspired by the surroundings and the landscape:)
I've almost cried when they found the northern lights 🥹 and the Sami song Is beautiful ❤ I think you should find out how brunost (and also geitost - I'm interested in this) Is made 😁
I'm norwegian personaly I don't rely like modern architecture I just don't think it looks good. but credit were credit is due and we sertainly cjld be doing worse wood is definatly a better material than concrete and steel. and the focus on contexst and location is definatly important
