7. Give zakat ( Charity) to poor people from the money you earn every month you have to give a small percentage from your Salary each month or a sum of money annually to the poor.
8. Never be greedy, jealous, lustful Allah is all wise he knows your heart desires so never do any of that.
And Soo on these are some of the Teachings of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him.
And kill infidels wherever you see them, right?

I dunno why but I feel the concept of this show is a little dated. The whole fish out of water person from Another country, culture thing is kind of done. I suppose during the 2000s we saw loads of these types of shows involving a Muslim coming to America that now it feels like the themes this show is touching upon is kind of done now and we are already passed it.

And yes we saw all soughts of shows like this in the 2000s you might’ve been born after 2000 so you probably don’t know. Also the sitcom is about family. Hmmm I don’t think we’ve seen that before. Oh wait we have. I’m going off my first impression of the show from the clips I’ve seen. Doesn’t mean I won’t give it a chance and allow my opinion to change if the show does that. Try and be open minded to other ideas and other opinions, you will do well there. I’m gonna give the show the chance to prove me wrong because I’m not afraid of that. I suggest you watch some classic sitcoms and then come back and comment.
@tiredofthebull there was a Canadian show back in the day called the little mosque and the prairie and there’s a British show called man like mobeen. There was also all American Muslim and citizen Khan. There’s a few others as well. Check them out. My personal favourite is man like mobeen.

Like I said you was probably born after that 2000 so you missed shows like that when it came out. Also just because you personally haven’t heard of it, doesn’t mean it hasn’t been addressed before. I suggest you go on a citizen Khan binge. Even check out man like mobeen. Also in 1990s there was a British sketch show called goodness gracious me which based around the British South Asian community. I suggest you go and watch those as well as they touched on a lot of themes based around Muslims. Homework for the weekend get watching those shows. They’re British so I dunno if you’ll understand all the humour but give it a go.
I can agree, but I think the average American (or anyone in general) that aren't familiar with Muslim/afghan tradition would get a kick out of a show like this. Maybe it'll open the door and soften their hearts to Muslims/afghans.
