May I say how delighted we are to see this most excellent video production and it was great to hear your narration has returned! These have to be the most impressive videos and always so clear and bright. It was a sad case to see at the railway station it had one of its shelters removed and only the frame was remaining, it was possibly receiving maintenance but I am sure that the passengers on that platform would appreciate being sheltered from the sun! It was great to see the steam locomotive at work, it will surely need that tank full of water as they will not be many places where it could obtain water as the old water cranes would been removed long ago. Thanks again for all the great work that you do, it is very much appreciated.
Thanks for your comment, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I believe that un-sheltered spot at Toowoomba Railway Station has been like that for a while; as that lane isn’t used for passenger trains anymore and is commonly used as a spot to store diesels for maintenance runs and other maintenance related works. Toowoomba Railway Station is such a gorgeous station; probably one of the best looking in Queensland and a relic of a bygone rail era. Now it’s only served by a Queensland Rail passenger train 4 times a week which is the Westlander doing its twice a week service from Brisbane to Charleville where it’s usually there late in the evening or early in the morning. Other than that; heritage passenger services may use it on their runs which is a common sight in the southwest between Ipswich and Warwick where as you mentioned they usually always carry water tanks as well due to lack of water tower / cranes in the modern rail era! Thanks again for your comment!
@@birgitmaloney7637 Don’t worry I have some videos in the works; I’m not sure when they’ll be out though. Finding the time to getting around to finishing them off has been hard recently is all!
