Just found your channel and enjoyed it very much. I lived in Edmonton many years ago and remember those small locos going past our house to and from the mill 24/7 .Thank you for the memories.
So as for the foreseeable future the mill has no plans to rebuild the bridge between north and south? Keep the video coming as you can, I really enjoy these videos of the cane trains
@@RyanHatterer-Ryanns999 It’s very unclear at the moment; I genuinely don’t know if the mill will rebuild it or not. It does seem like they’re at least talking about it though and if they are going to go through with it would be a potentially 1+ year process. For now the trucking operations are a stop gap measure of some kind; as eventually doing all this trucking will outweigh the costs of building the bridge. And thanks mate; glad to hear you enjoy the videos!
Here in Maine and New England, we have a bit of history with two-footers that I thought you may appreciate. Here's a link to one video: ua-cam.com/video/dHd5c5nc_UI/v-deo.html
It always looks like these trains will topple over at the first corner... LoL...
Sure does; 2ft sugarcane railways in Queensland are some of the most interesting operating railways out there in my opinion!!
