Not even 7 minutes in, and it's clear Tony is a fan of Punk, if he keeps this energy for Punk and every one of his other employees. AEW will truly succeed where many other promotions failed. My Chicago brother back where he belongs between ropes. A great day!

I've never been a die hard Punk fan but when the details came out why they cut him loose I couldn't wait for him to come into something he could truly enjoy and grow.

I don't think Vince loved wrestling ever, it was just a silver parachute he inherited from his dad that he turned into a media empire by treating it callously and with his eye always on the bottom line without thinking about what takes you there. in twenty, thirty, maybe forty years, Tony _might_ get there, but right now he _is_ the kid in the candy store because he's surrounding himself with what he loves and he's turning that passion into the product and when you do that you're not making a mere consumer product, you're making art.

CM Punk is so damn amazing, and it will be so good seeing him work with many of AEW's wrestlers. Thank you Punk for giving us the hope we needed, now wrestling is more interesting again.
After Punk brings up Brodie, you can see how it takes Tony a few minutes to get out of that space again, he really appreciates all of his wrestlers. They are family to him.
His face instantly drops from the happiness he's been so clearly feeling and it's both endearing and heartbreaking
I really felt Tony's pain when Punk brought up Brodie. This is what sets Tony apart, he is a man that is on a mission to bring wrestling back to the fans and create an environment where AEW is a company that treats all of its members as family. Brodie's death was a tragedy but he is still very much in the hearts of fans, talent and employees alike.

No one has ever came down to the ring with the fans singing their theme song and nothing else and not only that it was Jericho's own song, and then CM Punk had the loudest pop/ovation ever. More than Austin, Rock, Cena, Hogan, ANYONE.

I absolutely enjoyed this interview! I will give Mr. Tony Khan a lot of respect for not only saving professional wrestling by investing "All Elite Wrestling," but giving the fans the true meaning of what the pro wrestling is, and exciting the fans all over the world. A job well done for being a "game changer" and "innovator." It is now picking up business and will be here for a while!
As long as they stick to PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING and not focus more-so on theatrics, then AEW has something MASSIVELY special on their hands. What a gift for us all. What a time to be a wrestling fan.
