  • In this video I'm going to really pull back the curtain and show you how anyone can learn to play songs just by listening to them!
A lot of people will say you can't learn how to play by ear. Or that it can't be taught. They'll say you have to be "born with perfect pitch".
Well that's wildly untrue. I don't have perfect pitch and I can play songs on the spot just by hearing them. I can also teach my students how to do it.
But I actually want to go one step further. I'll bet your ear ALREADY know more than you even realize.
How can I say that? Well, you've been exposed to music your entire life. If we think of music as a language, you've got years of practice listening to it. So whether you know it or not, a lot of the building blocks are already in place.
So if you want to learn more about ear training, make sure to stay through the entire video, and let me know if you have any questions in the comments!
👉🏻 And if you want my complete system on how to play songs instantly by ear, check out my "Piano By Ear" course right here: bit.ly/piano-b...

If you thought it was cool what I could teach you in one short video... just imagine how much I could teach you in an entire course 😉 bit.ly/piano-by-ear-coreylennox
Piano By Ear is a step-by-step video course that walks you through exactly what you need to do to be able to play songs just by listening to them, all for less than the price of a month of lessons with me.
The course includes specific action steps, audio exercises, and worksheets... I wanted to make sure that this is as interactive and clear as possible.
So it's not just watching a bunch of lectures. You're actually learning and applying the new concepts every step of the way.
Don't believe me? On the "Piano By Ear" info page I've got real examples of people who've used my methods to play their favorite songs with NO sheet music.
One warning: I'm offering the course at a huge discount for the first 100 people only... After that the offer comes down and the price goes up.
So if you want to learn how to play by ear the most effective way possible, don't wait around!

The best part of your videos, is that you take away the scary part of learning, and you are right, we are expose to this material our whole life, just don't have a name to put on it. Thank you for all the hard work you put on the channel, best regards from Argentina!

Hi! I am classically trained in violin and have picked it back up after 20 years. I want to be able to freestyle with other instruments and possibly play with a band -- most of my friends don't write any of their original music down and i think this course would give me the skills to apply in the way i described. Do you agree, and also, do i need a piano?

    Hi Corey
I watched your videos today for the first time and I must say i was impressed by your teaching skills and methods. I am a 50 years old woman, i live in Greece and have a diploma in classical piano. I am a little rusty but nothing i cannot overcome. So here is my problem. I would like to be able to play pop rock etc songs on the piano with a decent arrangment which i dont know how to construct. I dont seem to know what to do with my left hand with regard to a correct approach to rhythmic patterns.. break and place correctly the chords on the piano range so that i have a fuller sound, as well as incorprorate the melody,.. etc.. I also would like to play just to accompany my singing. I wanted that all my life and i never got down to it. This gives me many times great grief😢 Can you help me and how? Pls suggest something because i really enjoyed the simplicity but also the depth in the simplicity to all your advices. This is exactly what i want. Someone like you that understands the problem, feels the furstration and has the logic, the kindness and the knowledge to solve it, to help.... The human factor is very important to me.. By the way, i am the opposite of you with regard to natural talent.. i was really good in sight read, have perfect pitch (which i for many years now consider it a disadvantage) have small hands and was always very impurresed to play freely on the piano because i stupidly felt i didn't sound as good as i liked to sound.
I will be waiting for your response 😊 I am sure that your students are very lucky to have you.. Hope you understood my English 😀
