Bill, Mark, and Brett- replacements for "THE SONNY & CHER COMEDY HOUR" in Summer 1974 when the couple split up, resulting in "THE SONNY COMEDY REVUE" in Fall 1974 on ABC while "The Hudson Brothers" did their CBS Saturday Morning variety show in Fall 1974, shot in Canada, and their song, "So You Are a Star" was pure 1974 Gold! thanks again, Music Enhancer- you're the best!!
Oh yes, the brothers also did the CBS Saturday Morning Sneak Peak TV special, "Socko Saturday" that introduced "THE HUDSON BROTHERS RAZZLE DAZZLE SHOW", "SHAZAM!", VALLEY OF THE DINOSAURS", "THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY: 2200, A.D." and "THE US OF ARCHIE", plus the live-action HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS POPCORN MACHINE SHOW"- that was pure Saturday Morning fun in Fall 1974!!
Wow! I love this all over again! Just blows my mind how you have kept the integrity of the original, but, but, but, have made it so utterly incredible! I cannot get enough of it!
Wow! That's really cool. You did a great job! Actually that recording was a demo that me and my brothers recorded in Vancouver BC. Neil Bogart released it anyway. Thank you for doing this. Your pal, Brett Hudson

You are really the Brett Hudson of the Hudson Brothers? Loved the show and your music. Hugs
I can't believe how good that sounded! Thank you.
One of my favorite records of the 70s! I love the extra touches you put on this. This song is the best song John & Paul never wrote!

Great song thanks.
Excellent Job, Kenn!!!:)
I always thought this was McCartney.
I have a love-Hate for this song. I'm a huge Lennon fan and it is so obvious what Hudson was doing here. It's a good song but i mean really.
But you have to agree that this song is much better than Lennon's "Mind Games" which came out around the same time....
@@happymoogmanjohnson2292 Yes i would agree. I love the "Mind Games" album but was never a big fan of the song.
It's a really good adaption of a sound I love...that's great!
Of course, he was trying to sound like Lennon.
