Pain Remains (I---III) is one of my favorite songs ever
Agreed,2 is ok but 1 and 3 tell the story the best.
Get tracks, and I love them all. I think Soulless Existence is by far the saddest song on the album and my favorite. Those solos by Adam, the guitar sounds like it’s crying.
As always, listening to a song alone is one thing, but when you add the visuals, it becomes a completely different experience, this trilogy actually broke me, and Will did such a great job conveying the emotions during the stages of grief, the beauty in those happy memories vs dark reality of the present without your loved one by your side
Tommy, thank you for reacting to my request. The video to this track gives it a stronger feel, in my opinion. After losing as many people as I have, this speaks to me in a very personal way, so I wanted to share with the group. Thank you again, my brother.
Dude, the video portrayed it. I liked this song alot more because of the video.
I love the songs in this trilogy. Lorna Shore quickly became one of my favorite bands.
The live playthrough 1 take video is pretty gnarly too
Lost my husband a little over 2 years ago and this one hits so close to home. The emotion and despair displayed in this song reflects the pain so well. Thanks for reacting! 💕
Sending you love dear friend
I do think the trilogy is the best thing on the album, as a video trilogy it does hit different, somehow it just makes the 3 parts stand out more and it did invoke a lot of memories too. What they do as a band they do extremely well, Adam is an awesome songwriter.
The Pain Remains trilogy is my favorite trilogy :D
Las tres canciones juntas son la perfección
Yup, I felt that! I've been that way for a year now.
Another great reaction, as always!! You have to check the other two videos from this trilogy. Even though their last album is not my fav one, this trilogy is really a great, poetic way of portraying the different stages of grief.
Edit: *the grief when you lost a loved one
This great
I really like Soulless Existence by LS. I’m not sure why that doesn’t get the praise I believe it deserves. That to me is by far the saddest song on the album. Give it a spin when you get a chance and let me know if I’m just crazy.
🤘😝🤘
Seems like we both have a similar take on Lorna Shore. I just vibe with them more than you I think.
The only song on the new album that I think is a bit too ridiculous with the breakdowns is Apotheosis, mostly the one towards the end of the song, the first one redeems itself by going into the choir/chanting bit with guitar solo.
Gotta say tho, from a lyrical/story telling perspective, Pain Remains is definitely in the top tier of concept albums for me. Up there with Symphony X and Orden Ogan.
Gotta say, really didnt expect to see Lorna Shore here.
Lorna made it into my Mount Rushmore of bands with this album.
Oh really? I did a reaction of Of the Abyss here❤
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody It was just because of a comment you left one time mentioning how you thought some of this album was too over-the-top, so I figured you'd already heard this trilogy.
I haven't watched yet, so idk what you say in here, just commenting now, coming back later. :)
And now I gotta go watch your Of The Abyss reaction, I think that's Lorna Shore's best song, if we count the trilogy as 3 separate songs.
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody Oh, I've already watched your Of The Abyss reaction, that was where you mentioned some of the new album being too much.
I forced him to do it,lol. No, seriously, I wanted to show those in the group who might not have seen it.
Mental cruelty- symphony of a dying start. You will love it
Beautiful music, the video is very good. I showed your channel to my son's, they were astonished with your good taste. Thank you very much....we always win time to listen it. Life don't need be a sacrifice, is a miracle 😊😊😊
Wow, thank you! You are always so kind!
So sorry to hear about your mom!
The song (the whole trilogy) is great. But then song with the video is a masterpiece. It change completely the perception of the song
Idk, I like the original idea for the album/trilogy more than what the video portrays. I also feel like it sends kind of a strange/conflicted message. It clearly works for a lot of people tho.
Agreed totally,I was thinking about making my reaction choices three months in a row this trilogy, but I think I'll just do PR3 next because the two songs tell the story, in my opinion.
@@gabrielkain1 Bruh, you cant just skip the middle, wtf.
@ThaBeatConductor I get where your coming from but I enjoy parts 1 and 3 and we get 1 reaction a month on Patrean so you have to pick wisely. Lol.
@@gabrielkain1 I mean, you wouldn't watch just Fellowship and Return would you? Or A New Hope and Return Of The Jedi?
Fantastic reaction. I am so sorry for what your family went through with the loss of your dad. If you don't mind a little constructive criticism, you're speaking voice is really low in the mix here. Cheers!
Appreciste the kind words friend. Im going to adjust the mix. I see what you mean.
Man, i cant stand them.. pointless breakdowns, very similar songs. drums are fast but extremely uninteresting
Im with you, I only like maybe 1 or 2 songs. They are very mediocre for me
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody yeah, its almost shocking and a little bit sad how huge they’ve become despite that 😅 i’m guessing its melodic parts combined with breakdowns! the young generation these days are breakdown junkies 😱
@@satricon Oh have you heard my unpopular opinion? Breakdowns are overrated.
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody hahaha, your opinion is actually facts! 😎 Breakdowns are so watered down, there’s very few who can still make them have an inpact! Slaughter to prevail has managed a couple of times! Humanitys Last breath as well, cuz they’re doing their own thing/sound! It almost makes me sad that so many crave simple repetition 😂
