When we allow our dogs to greet too quickly, we often put them in situations where conflict may occur. I do, however, recommend that we let dogs greet other dogs on leash as our dogs are social beings. This is only after following my systematic Let's Talk process as it allows everyone time to determine if both dogs want to greet.
