One of my very favorite things about this show is how often Bob chuckles at his kids jokes. That doesn't happen in any other show I can think of. The jokes are always written for us the audience to laugh at, but in Bob's Burgers he legitimately laughs when his kids do funny things.
They've really got that "family that actually genuinely likes each other" charm I haven't seen really be a regular part of a series since the Adam's Family.
I love the father/daughter relationship between Louise and Bob. Not many animated sitcoms have that. I mean Peter hates Meg, Homer and Lisa have a rocky relationship, Stan and Hailey hardly get along etc... Louise is so close to her Dad. Bob and Tina are close, too, but him and Louise have that special bond.
yes! while i love family guy and american dad it always bothered me how much their parents hated their kids, i especially love bobs burgers bc they are actually a wholesome family who all love each other
Louise’s creativity is cinematography, there’s so many instances of her being good with a camra or appreciateing good film (hock and chick, taking pics for Tammy, making the meat man movie, the halftime time commercial, etc)
I've always appreciated how open-minded they write the Bob character, and the generally inclusive attitude of the show. Lots of gay and trans characters, and they're always well-rounded and fully written.
I love how the personalities all make sense. Tina looks like her dad, but acts like a mix between her dad and Linda’s sister . Louise looks likes her mom and acts like a mix of her mom and dad. The son looks like his dad, but acts like his mom. Such a sweet family show.
It's so accurate to real life. I'm more like my Dad, my husband is more like his Mom. Our oldest child is more like my husband, and our youngest is more like me. Also, I love how present Bob and Linda are in their children's lives. Maybe their business could be more successful if they ignored their kids more, but they have their priorities right!
Tina and louise look like Linda but gene looks like bob but I always like how certain personality traits could be either bob or Linda like how Linda is so crazy like louise and how Tina can get violent or be crazy over something she loves or how gene loves music like Linda but bob sings all the time too

Now THIS should have been a fact in this video! I mostly knew everything on the list... I've watched the whole show through about 11 times and never noticed that!!!
Can't forget the fact that the icecream machine that got damaged by the shark in "The Deepining" is still damaged in future episodes. Similar to Bob's tattoo.
I love how in the Latin American dub they respected the voice actors, with mens dubbing Linda and Tina, and giving Louise the exact same voice as Mabel from Gravity Falls Latin dub; Sol Nieto
In the German dub, they kept the va's genders as well! I'd say Tina has an even deeper voice, Bob is pretty much the same, Gene is a bit higher pitched. Louise and Linda sound eerily similar to their English counterparts lol
In the first episode, when Linda is mad about Bob not remembering their anniversary, Linda asks Bob if he remembers their wedding night and Bob says something along the lines of, “Yeah, we worked cause we couldn’t afford not to.”. Also in Season 10 Episode 1, “The Ring (But Not Scary)” Bob buys Linda a real wedding ring because he couldn’t to when they were married. So my guess is that the got married at city hall because they were as poor back then as they are currently lol. I love Bob’s burgers so much and this video was great.
I really can’t say how much I love this show and the creators, they really truly care about their fans. The episode where it was fully animated by fan art in different art styles was so amazing to watch! I really hope they do another episode like that again. So sweet.
The best part of the show is that every episode is an independent story. It will be their success overall to not intertwine our real life and politics like the other shows do. P.s love futurama.
truth, the moment they start making political themes episodes that try to emulate current events I'll be done with them. The closest they came was the class president with Henry and that played off perfectly because it didnt get preachy.
I was one of those girls. Tina is the most relatable version of my adolescent years I have seen onscreen. Socially awkward, but inwardly very imaginative and absolutely boy crazy.
Ginger definitely is seen. The episode where they are speculating what would have happened if Bob didn’t have a mustache when he met Linda. “I was having a quiet drink with my good friend Ginger” then cut to them at the bar.
I would say the transvestite episode had some pretty bad moments like morts “me too” comment after Tina says she’s just kissed her first boy or the fact that when they’re first introduced the joke is that bob is uncomfortable but tbh the first season was the most edgy and after that the show was pretty well clean from the iffy jokes. And if I’m being honest the bleakening part 1 and 2 make up for any of those jokes by FAR :)
I love the burger puns and the neighboring store’s name puns. Some of the songs are my fav too “electric love, twinkly lights, burger n fries”. I love Linda’s mostly carefree spirit.
Re: Bob being bi. In the episode where Bob gets kidnapped by the captain of the ship, just before he gets locked in the chiller by the other chef he agrees to "doing things" with the chef in an attempt to get the chef to release him.
Offering "doing things" in exchange to be released from imprisonment isn't being bi, but is instead being held against ones will. Bob would probably be more bi curious than anything. Maybe had some confusing college experience. Living with and raising the kids he has he absolutely needs to be an open minded and accepting person for alternative lifestyles. Starting with the pilot episode, I have been binge-watching Bob's Burgers on HULU over the past several weeks. Now I am up to SE10:EP13. I am quite knowledgeable about pop-culture from the '80s, '90s, and today. The references made in the show came to me quite quickly. Approximately 10% of the things that were mentioned I did not know or made any connection to.
If I remember correctly gene also has a middle name but Linda won’t tell him what it is 😂 it was the episode where Tina was a hall monitor and was taking zeke to the principals office
I like the first 3 seasons the best. The humor was a little more for adults and I like how everything is a little rough in general. The voices even sound different to me in subtle ways.
The fact that it is undeniable how much Bob and Linda love each other🥰 Reminds me of how much Peggy and Hank genuinely loved each other. It’s nice to see a show that doesn’t glorify adultery. No problem I love family Guy for OTHER reasons however. This show is adorable!!! Keep it coming!!
i love how the creators love their fans and are so open minded with stuff that honestly makes me love the show 10x more and it’s already my favorite 😂😂
They had an entire episode dedicated to Adult Swim's Home Movies, where Bob's voice actor played Coach McGuirk. It's the episode where Louise has to play soccer for the last game. Two of the main characters are seen in the episode (Brendan and Melissa). Also, the voice actor for Jason is in another episode, played the klepto kid that steals Mr Frond's doll for Aunt Gale. AND Ron is played by the same guy who's Brendan's teacher.
As a left-handed person, I also noticed that Tina is a southpaw. The animators keep this consistent BTW; while playing the guitar in the episode where the 3 kids tell their stories about the school (can't remember the episode name) she is playing it lefty. She also eats and writes with her left hand. Very interesting detail. Any idea why they made Tina right-brained? 😁
My Mom is left-handed and was so disappointed not a single one of her 9 children were lefties. Then I married a left-handed man, and she was so thrilled to have another lefty in the family!
Great show and although I had already caught some of these, it was a lot of fun learning the other "inside" stuff too! Recently I've been binging the show on Hulu and just saw the episode with all of the different animation styles and it was so cool that it was done by various fans; those are TRUE and extremely devoted (and talented) Bob's Burgers fans! I hope this wonderful show has a long run like The Simpsons has!! 🍔😉❤
Me and my brother actually named each and every crush in that ending song scene. If we didn't remember their name we would say the most defining thing about them. Like the blonde one. We forgot his name so we knew him by "the lifeguard episode. Sugar cookies."
I knew everything except the fan episode, mostly because I have a familiarity issue I'm talking to my therapist about, so I end up watching the same things over and over and over and over. I've watched the entire series of Supernatural, Bob's Burgers and Family Guy at least 30 times. It's a comfort thing.. I'm working on it. :x

I like the first 3 seasons the best. The humor was a little more for adults and I like how everything is a little rough in general. The voices even sound different to me in subtle ways.
I always thought bobs burgers was about a world of awkward people interacting with each other which makes me laugh every episode
The fact that it is undeniable how much Bob and Linda love each other🥰
Reminds me of how much Peggy and Hank genuinely loved each other. It’s nice to see a show that doesn’t glorify adultery. No problem I love family Guy for OTHER reasons however.
This show is adorable!!! Keep it coming!!
0:34 How do you use all the food puns in the beginning and miss the softball of "Mayo-missed". The shame. THE SHAME!
i love how the creators love their fans and are so open minded with stuff that honestly makes me love the show 10x more and it’s already my favorite 😂😂
Me and my 4 year old sing the jingle "blazing beef and big ole buns, bun bun bun bun bun bun bun!
6:08 also Louises friend regular sized Rudy looks a lot like Bobby Hill, the hair and outfit.
I thought I was the only one who noticed that! I loved watching Home Movies years ago and still watch it from time to time to this day
Lol one of the things you may have missed is the shop next door, the pest control truck, and the burger of the day are always different puns!
This was one of the first things brought up in the video... what
That’s like half of the point of the show..
Bob's burgers won some Emmys
I'm "mostly" straight too, Bob
Screen rant: “ of the burger family”
Me: “ummmm don’t you mean the belcher family
I don't think they will never make Louise and Gene's Birthday episodes because I think they want to keep them the same age as they are in the show.
I absolutely love bobs burger and watched all seasons in 2 weeks!
I’d like to see Coach McGirk from Home Movies make an appearance.
This is my favorite show! I hope they keep renewing!
I love bob's burgers so much, i watch it everyday ❤❤❤
In season 6 episode 1 you can see ginger with Linda in the scene where linda meets bob
It's great how Bouchard is so supportive of fan artists. It wasn't always like that tbh
Funny! I never even noticed Andy and Ollie were Jimmy Pesto’s siblings!
I’ve read “The Unbearable Lightness of Being” by Milan Kundera. We had to read it for Philosophy class. It was pretty good.
Not enough about Gene, most under rated character, FREAKING cracks me up to the point of tears with his lines!!
11 seasons?! I've been watching this show since the beginning and I am genuinely surprised that it's had 11 seasons.
the absolute whiplash after hearing "transvestite" in 2020 -- yikes lol
Right?!?
I got married at the Court House -- best idea ever! Cheap. Fast. Easy.
I love what the show turned into, but also what the original concept for it was
I believe we do see Ginger, in the flashback in “Sliding Bobs.” She’s setting with Linda right before she throws the shrimp!
This makes me love bobs burgers even more
during the first episode there was a methadone clinic next door😂
those fan stories were super cool. props to simon chong!
Whoa, even I didn't know all these things.
That fan art episode and the episode with archer is awesome.
Gene is my absolute favorite character.
I mean, how can you not love the kid who said, "We'll give you four minutes of normal, and one minute of formal!"?
7. Bob would smash marshmallow and only her. You can seeit everytime she comes around
I initially struggled to watch Archer because of Bob's Burgers 😂
Bob’s Burgers is my favorite show of all time.
If Bob wasn't married to Linda, he'd one hundred percent be dating Marshmellow, not the Turkey Guy.
I have the bobs burgers cook book, highly recommended
I love this show, o so much. always have, always will.
