- The cargo ship that lost power and crashed into a bridge in Baltimore underwent “routine engine maintenance” in port beforehand, the U.S. Coast Guard said Wednesday, as divers recovered the bodies of two of six workers who plunged into the water when it collapsed. Thankful for the service and sacrifice of these civil soldiers.
The families of the victims need to be generously compensated first. It cannot be like the FIU bridge where the attorneys took all the insurance money, and nothing was left for the victims of the collapse.
The Secretary of the Treasury and Secretary Pete have already said they’re going to ensure that all possible compensation is paid.
Supervisors should be held accountable for keeping crew members in harm’s way !
Passenger was found still clutching the inside door handle. Looks like he pulled on that handle til he drowned. Imagine the fear and panic of not being to get out, and the cab filling with water, and trying to hold his breath until he couldn't find the urge anymore and he inhaled nothing but water. Friend who is a cop there told me this.
