- Evil Morty is still the most interesting character from the series, 5th episode really gave us a lot of information about him, but it still left a lot of new ones. What is his future gonna be and how will his story go? this is the topic of today's video

I'm still of the theory that the "Final Villain" or next major teased villain could/should be the "Citadel of Morties" from the comic series. A chunk of multiverse where the Rick and Morty roles are reversed, and Evil Morty can be targeted by versions of himself that are all basically Rick in their attitude and intelligence. Maybe add in an "Evil Rick" and we could at least get an interesting one-off episode with those two forced to work together.

Well, this can all be combined. Doofus Jerry was... What? Lost in the Multiverse? I can't remember what happened exactly, but let's say he was discovered by the Citadel of Morties, and told them about the Rick-centric part of the Multiverse.
Much like the Ricks, their egos can't handle this knowledge and they start checking it out, filling up the role that the Citadel of Ricks took up, with "Evil Rick" (the Sidekick Rick who is their "Evil Morty") plotting his own escape.
Doofus Jerry begins collecting other "Evil Smiths" because of his obsession with Beth and jealousy of the regular Jerries' lives, building up to the eventual creation of the "Evil Smiths".
Or is that too much?
The final boss is actually gonna be the cypher dude from gravity falls
I don't think Evil Morty will make another appearance anytime soon. They always have two seasons between another canonical appearance. S 1, S 3, S 5, S 7.
He’ll probably be in S9 in someway. But I’m not sure since his inclusion in the show now is him trying to be left alone. Maybe Doofus Jerry can replace Rick prime for a big bad.
Honestly Evil Morty is someone who's so angry he's basically exhausted. Everything he says, he sounds so tired so done with bullshit. I think someone like that is scary. They know every single move you make before you can even think it and they plan far into the future and they already know what they're gonna do long after you're dead
Dan Harmon made it clear that Evil Morty is supposed to be the big bad of the series, that's why he has the Omega Device now
He said a good villain doesn't just fight you or hide from you, he owns you, and that's the case with Evil Morty and Rick C-137 now

No that's what he calls himself and he is the one that put all the Mortys on the outside of the dome getting tortured to use the Morty waves to hide behind. He blew up the entire citadel killing everyone on it even all of the innocent Mortys (hell even some Rick's) that voted him into power to be able to carry out his plan in the first place. He just killed them all! How you think that him wanting to be left alone is all he's done than you don't really know the cannon. He is evil, him wanting to be left alone doesn't exclude him from being evil both things can be true

Possible but I doubt it. Evil Morty is the most popular character and I think he may not even appear again this year. My guess is Evil Morty will find a purpose some future season and some conflict will make him build the omega device. It may be for a member of the family including himself or anyone for that matter. Evil Morty does not need a redemption arc as all the characters in R&M are grey and destroying the citadel possibly makes Evil Morty net positive on Karma as how many govs, planets and realities have ricks destroyed?
Guessing we’ll see him in season 9 (he appears every two seasons).

It would be amusing to watch them slowly rotate through different versions of different family members as main villains. Evil Morty, Rick Prime, Doofus Jerry... uh... Radical Summer and... I don't really have a good name for a either Beth or Space Beth alternates.

I feel like we don’t need an antagonist for the end of this season, I feel like Ricks nihilism is going to be more of a problem now and that struggle might be enough of a plot device getting toward the end. I’m probably wrong though, Rick and Morty always throws some strange twist, and that’s what I love about it.
Are you intentionally leaving out doofus Jerry? There is definitely a hint of his appearance in the opening scenes.
I’m kinda hyped for “Mort Ragnarick” because the movie the title plays on is Thor Ragnarok so there’s gotta be some marvel references or even just one right?

I think Rick prime’s Diane died naturally and then he got into his portal gun and decided to share it then after seeing Ricks keep turning him down he snapped and went evil. Because remember our Morty is his Morty and their entire family is dead now. So I would rather see evil Morty family now that Rick and Morty don’t exist there
Morty is the only Prime family member left since the rest died in their original dimension.
I’m starting to think that this season really is a Evil Morty themed season and other characters from the comics like doofus Jerry will have to wait next season or even later to make their debut in the show
I believe and agree with your theory of Evil Rick being alive because there operation phoenix with the clones. So Evil Rick's mind might be in a clone body and he is trying to find and kill Evil Morty for what he did to him

Yes since Rick c-137 deserve to be sacrificed more than even evil Morty has done and that's the whole point of the entire Arc of evil Morty. What evil morty done was only a speck of evil comparison to All the ricks in the multiverse who have committed evil atrocities just because they can.. For little reason Accept for their own enjoyment.

I doubt that if Evil Morty died he'd stay dead. I mean when you consider all of the knowledge he stole from Rick(s) it wouldn't be all that surprising if he built his own version of Project Phoenix, ESPECIALLY after exploring some of the multi-verse outside of the Central Finite Curve.

Watching this after S7 ended. S7 finale was really tame finale wise. I think it more so should bring us into another Morty centric season. Since he is now over his fear. He may act far more like he did in S5 and hopefully be more independent. But not enough to act like a different character.
Imho, the perfect ending for evil morty, one where he doesn't die in order to not anger the fans, would be a similar ending to porky from mother 3:

Rick c137 is the closest to being good out of the main characters. Morty, including evil Morty is ignorant of the greater vision. Rick is the protagonist, Morty is the antagonist.

I personally don't like the idea of cathartic endings.
One of the reasons i liked the show in first place was the cinic, the not caring in general of the characters and the fact that things go wrong or in a way you wouldn't expect.
Okay dude did you watch the episode? This is going t to sound harsh but we know exactly what happened to Evil Morty's Rick. He was the enslaved Rick we saw in 'Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind'. We see Evil Morty do this in the opening of the ep. I feel you're trying to create mystery where there isn't any.
Also Evil Morty has always been in control when he shows up. He's not a victim or unwilling, that's what makes him work as a character. I don't know why people keep trying to give him a tragic backstory when this episode shows he doesn't have have one.
And I'm not really sure where you're getting the idea he'll sacrifice himself? He seems pretty happy in the home he built for himself, he's not particularly tormented by guilt. He doesn't seem to want to redeem to himself, what he wants is to be left alone.
I want to point out that he said to Morty that they're not friends, that he finds our Rick useful and may have some respect for him doesn't mean he's going to go drinking with the boys. He has the omega device so he can get our Rick's help using that, but then he doesn't need a Rick which sets him apart.

But the backstory be sad is not 100% sure sice is all based on supposition, sice he could not even have an original universe and be created from inside the cidadel Morty factory.

Even you said "Possibly" is a possibility, but can be wrong. He could have being created in a factory and have one be with one Rick. Sice he would not have been born aside the family, he not recognize Summer, Beth and Jerry as family. It would explain why he knows the cidadel and how he knows so much about them technology.
@@peapod5629 Okay in the beginning we see Evil Morty have a bad adventure with his Rick. He then gets his Rick drunk, finishes the eyepatch, and then we hear him attack his Rick. I think what happened is that he made his Rick into his slave.
When we see him going to the Morty adoption center he was doing that to remove his record. Meaning he was taking steps to not be adopted by other Ricks. And keep in mind his enslaved Rick was with him when he did this. We even see said Rick trying to take his own life later in the flashback.
Basically he couldn't be taken in by another Rick because prior to the 'Close Rick-counters' episode he was still with 'his' Rick, and he had no records in the adoption facility because he removed them.\
If anything taking out his Rick embolden him, showed that he didn't need Rick and was capable of handling him if it came to that.

Will Dufus Jerry show up at some point??? Since Rick Prime is gone I believe that Dufus Jerry will show up at some point. We have seen Dufus Rick a couple of seasons back. I think Dufus Jerry will be more of a challenge not finite curve wise but present timeline influence. 😬👍👍

I agree. He might just be cannon for now until needed. He killed those ricks and mortys to get out of the central finite curve. He only came back because rick prime has this item that can take him out. He's also admitted that he does not want to kill all ricks because an infinite amount of summers will come after him...Unless he gets bored with his time alone and decides to play games with rick to give motivation. He also said after rick c137 killed prime rick that, "it feels the same." So he knows most that nothing really matter since he's gone through it because of rick. I do think that he is more compassionate than rick. They might not require a "Main antagonist." They don't want to have anything like that kinda what they did to bird persons' wife. They might just end up doing what rick and morty were designed to do. To be a creative outlet for writers and go on random crazy adventures.
