Well, something that I noticed in the Rick and Jerry episode that recently came out this season, was that Jerry in that episode said that Rick wastes his intelligence, which is very similar to what Doofus Jerry told the other Ricks. Now, I’m not saying our Jerry will turn into Doofus Jerry, but I do think it was interesting that our Jerry said that, implying that some Jerry’s canonically believe that Rick wastes his intelligence.

I guess you can call Doofus Jerry the Rickest Jerry, mostly since of his extreme high level intellect, strength, and other stuff that I don’t feel like mentioning. My only confusion is how they will introduce doofus Jerry in the show since the cidadel of ricks was destroyed by Rick and Morty, and destroyed a second time by Evil Morty.
Rebuild it as many times as it takes!

Have him still obsessing over finding a Beth, but all of the Beths are too used to being "better" or smarter than their Jerry and their ego can't cope. He keeps getting angrier and more bitter each time she eventually rejects him.

Yeah, he was referring to creating the formula, however, the purpose of the central finite curve was to separate the universes where rick is the smartest from where he’s not. I don’t think the other ricks would invite doofus rick, so it’s very possible he also just straight up created the formula.

Doofus Jerry vs Evil Morty debates usually get argued as Evil Morty actually got what he wanted. I say that view lowballs the comtext of how they accomplished what they did. Essentially, Evil Morty played the long game, playing for lower stakes, while Doofus Jerry simply walked in and took over, and would have conquered the entire multiverse if not for the walking plot device known as regular Jerry.
A few things. If all jerries are meant to suffer, does that mean doofus jerry suffered by being successful but having no one? Because after trying to get Beth, he dies in the end like any other jerry. Also, I think they're saving doofus jerry after Evil Morty. Evil Morty seems smarter, more tactful and even more resourceful than rick. Since he could've just killed rick and prime and fucked off. Instead, he revived rick to do his job for him while he destroyed the base and took the schematics. Lastly does anyone else think the one true Morty might be an antagonist? I ask because rick is a chaotic neutral in the multiverse and I feel omnipotent beings have problems with people like that.
This is actually inspiring. What could you be? Any number of incarnations depending on your choices, your attitude, and the people you keep around you.

10:50 i think the key difference is while rick always talks about letting go to everyone he clearly hasn't let go of ANY of his ambitions and such but this jerry did really just let everything go and maybe thats why his fate was like that i have nothing to base it on but i find it an intriguing possibility if laid out right

I don’t think he does, remember when Rick got arrested and took summer to the chronenburg universe he practically talked shit on his family and when portal travels era got reset the only time morty cared was because his dad was “cool”

If Jerry wasn’t a trifecta of unappealing he’d be too uninteresting to be in the show. He’s dumb. He’s got no strengths or skills. And he’s a coward.
But it plays off of his wife, who is low empathy, unsatisfied, and smart.
You have Morty who is not smart, but idealistic and driven, and is capable of learning.
You have Summer, who somewhat smart, self driven, and vain.
You have Rick, who is a genius, self destructive addict, borderline narcissist.
The through line, is that they still need each other. Jerry is Loyal. Beth is Orderly. Morty is Passionate. Summer is Prepared. Rick is… Making Peace with Grief.
I would really like to see the “rick” jerry and “rick” rick interact or see “jerry” jerry meet “jerry” rick

There is a flaw in the comics and in the show. Dofus Rick has to come from a universe where he is still the smartest man alive because that was the point of central finite curve; to prevent entering a universe where Rick is NOT the smartest man when using the portal gun. Therefore, Dofus Rick would still need to be the smartest man in his universe and would be more powerful than his Jerry.

I don't really understand a thing about how the "other" Jerry knowing Doofus Rick.
Yes, Rick C-137 travels to dimensions that are "almost identical" to the one he's leaving behind, so a dimension where the other Rick and Morty did pretty much everything they did etc.
Sure, but only C-137 lived the "evil Rick" episode, faced evil Morty, and all the stuff we call "canon episode", which means only the second (I think, maybe the third one, anyways the Jerry of the episode) Jerry actually met and developed frienship with Doofus Rick.
So how Jerry C-132 knew Doofus and decided to take the portal gun and visit him?
This is a thing that I wondered about the main series as well, yes they can travel to a universe that lived more or less their same experience, but not an identical one, yet the continuity makes so that secondary character that should've not lived the "canon" stuff did. That's not a problem, of course if they think too much about this they could do nothing canon anymore, it's just something I've always wondered and makes little sense ESPECIALLY in that comic's issue.
Yeah, because that's not C-132 Jerry, I could be remembering wrong, but C-132 Rick and Morty are dead already at this point in the comics, and we are now following Rick C-137 and Morty Prime, that's why Jerry is friend's with doofus Rick

Doofus Jerry was mentioned in the Tales of the Citadel episode when the Rick Council told President Morty (Evil Morty) they don't care if the citadel was run by a Rick, a Morty, or a Jerry. The reason is that Doofus Jerry attempted to conquer the Citadel as shown in the video.

@@Juice-ig3jz Well, it's not a far reach because the comics are canon and focus on the adventures of Rick and Morty from Dimension C-132. Rick C-132 is very similar to Rick C-137 but not as powerful and smart than the main Rick we follow and love.

Rick turned his dimension into a time bubble stopping people from dying and repeating the same day in repeat.
So Jerry was most likely either never born, or stayed a child forever never aging and eventually dying when Rick stopped the time loop

Jerry is one of the most interesting characters in the show and the most humane. He's can show true growth and has the ability to adapt to any situation and thrive. Prime Jerry adapted and overcame the world hes in. Doofus Rick etc.

Maybe not the topic of video but why do everyone forget that Rick and Morty screwup their universe and replace another Rick and Morty, but everyone said that our Rick has replaced the Rick prime family in the beginning of the season as he thought he just might come back!
But that universe was screwed and everyone turns to monsters and the current universe we see is the universe that Rick and Morty went to!
Thus, this universe Beth and her daughter cannot be Rick Prime's Daughter and Grand Daughter, only Morty is related to Rick Prime according to the new revelation in the new season
At the end of the episode where they beat Rick Prime, it's interesting to note on evil morty said "he doesn't want an invincible Sumer coming for revenge" if he uses the weapon.
Which probably means that the sumer we already know can be very dangerous, or else there's a sumer just as intelligent and dangerous who's capable of taking on evil morty.

My personal theory: Doofus Jerry was rescued from death by the Citadel of Morties, Morties in the multiverse who have Rick's role.
With the Rick Citadel out of commission, they wanna move in on that chunk of multiverse, seeing this Jerry ad an ally/tool.
Throw in a Rick version of Evil Morty, and we could have a good couple episodes.
