Do you know what the yearly update cost is for this unit and for the ms919?. I want to get the ms919 wich is a step below the ultra. But still has the VCMI. How good is the waveform generator?. Can you supply voltage through the multimeter leads and check the scanner live data at the same time?. I'll appreciate very much your answer because i want the scanner but there's not a lot of info on this new units.
@Welding Junkie Have you tried to use the diagnosis and scope at the same time? I tried it on mine with the scope and the waveform generator. It displays an error message saying the diagnosis is using the VCMI and I have to exit diagnosis to use the scope or waveform generator. So, I do not think you can use two functions of the VCMI at once.
Seems to me this was second video you posted of this cool tool. Figuring now that you can cast the scanner screen to a big screen TV wirelessly with Android 7.0, you have to wonder how soon Autel is going to release a budget $1500 Launch Diagon version sized tool with a VCI 100 sized dongle and the scope? The Probes themselves will just be very short wired cabled transmitters velcroed to whatever you can find to mount them to with no wired connections what so ever to the USB scope module incorporated into the phone sized tablet!
