I’m so glad you are telling people about shoulder fit. Spread the word! I also apply this to bottom up sweaters. You see so many ill fitting sweaters in magazines where the whole thing is too big in the shoulders.
At Time Stamp 47:15...I loved the "tip" for Hand Dyed Yarns about using ONE SKEIN only for about 1/3 of it BEFORE starting to alternate with Skein #2!!!! Then when Skein #1 is exhausted, Skein #2 will alternate with Skein #3! Then when Skein #2 is exhausted, Skein#3 will pick up a new partner (Skein #4) and they'll take turns alternating! I never ever thought about this! Great Tip!!!!
Hi .... i sow your channel from UA-cam recommendations...happy that’s happen ... i spent the whole weekend watching your videos.... know .. i purchase the pattern .... this is my second project on knitting .... BUT i feel i can make it with great teacher like you 🌹🌹
Suzanne, I'm watching the video now, and I must say, your yarn and color choices are so beautiful! Good idea about the safety pins. You're right, you need more RS rows before dividing the body and sleeves. It fit right up into your armpit.
I have 3 inch discrepancy between back neck actual, and that which correlates with chest/body size. Not going to try to make up that difference in yoke. Will there be ability to do wider collar so I can compensate?
I see this is that nice yarn you swatched recently. I am on the fence about doing top down with cables. The one time I tried it (a baby sweater) I didn’t like the way the cables came out upside down. Does this not bother you? Oh I see I posted my question before you discussed upside down cables. How is it that you don’t see the Vs upside down? Please elaborate. I would like to join this knitalong. I already have the book.
Hi Suzanne, I want to make cables only on the front side and pockets, just want to make sure I don't need to place markers for all the other cables. This is my very first sweater and feel like the cables may be too much right now to learn except the front ones.
Hi Suzanne! First let me say thank you for your fantastic videos. I want to know: I have fat arms and if I want to do a decorative raglan and I do more increases on the arms sides than the body and back sides of the raglan, won’t that be noticeable? Thank you, I was on the fence about doing the KAL but decided to jump in. I love your explanations. Please excuse my English is not my first language.
Most likely they will not show as they will be down in the part of the Raglan line that starts to curve to your underarm. Great question. Happy knitting.

Exactly. My pet peeve too. Happy knitting.

The collar will compensate. It will work our perfectly.

You are correct, ignore the other markers for cables. Happy Knitting.

What book are you referring to?
Ann Budd's Top Down Sweater book.
Please adjust the focus on your camera. It is not focused properly and the camera work is not clear.
I am so sorry.
