As a Korean guy, I can say EastMeetEast is by far the best dating app for Asians and Non-Asians, especially for Asian guys. Far better than Tan Tan and Tinder (which is hella dry). Cheers :)
"How do i get a Korean boyfriend?" Literally the exact same way you get a boyfriend from any other country...?? Talk to them like they're humans, try to be their friend, find out if you have anything in common, be interested in them, DONT chat non-stop about Korea/kpop/kdramas/k-idols. Yes, you can show interest in the country they come from, but don't let it dominate every conversation. I recently made friends with a Korean guy. I am very into kpop and kdramas, but i didn't bring it up around him and when he brought it up, i kept it short, didn't go into too much detail, DIDNT fangirl over my bias/fav kpop group (didnt even mention who my fav is) and changed the subject after a short while. Yes, he's Korean, but he is NOT my bias and i don't need to treat him like it. He is himself and deserves to be treated and respected as an individual.
The conversation would have to be expansive on other things like hobbies, thoughts on the world etc. and just not fetishize Asians. Because it may make them uncomfortable. And I feel like they would want to build a relationship on actual fondness of the person as a whole and not just because of k-drama fantasies.
Tbh I think when it comes to K-Pop or K-Dramas it should just be lumped in with the "I listened to these songs I think you might like" and the "I've started watching these shows lately, seen them?" kinda convos. Not the only topic, but also isn't treated as an "I must not mention" type thing. If this makes sense
Lol 😂 Tysm for telling me this info. I really needed it. Like, I'm not gonna go to korea or anything, but I don't wanna mess. Especially when it comes to korean guys 😂
My issue is that I have a preference for Asians(not Koreans, because that's not a race) but everyone I mention it to is like "KOREABOO". I've had a preference for Asians for as long as I can remember but for some reason that's suddenly "racist". I've been learning Korean because I like the culture but now I'm embarrassed to talk to anyone about it in fear of people judging me. So my friends can have a preference for Caucasians, Black people and Hispanic people but god forbid I have a different taste...
Sarah I feel u, theres a girl in my class that is korean and like half of the grade knows i like kpop and bts so she thinks im a koreaboo. I also have an asian preference so i know what its like to keep hearing people call u a koreaboo just because u like kpop and have a preference.
Asm Asm yes, but *asian* is considered a race. they’re stating that they are more attractive to those of the asian race, and that it bothers her that others can be attracted to the caucasian, african american, mexican, etc. race, yet when you like a kpop group it is “racist” to many to be attracted to those of an asian ethnic background.
Sarah yeah I understand u. I also hv a preference for East Asians (bcz im from South Asia I wanted to be more specific😂). And when I mention that, a lot of ppl think itz bcz of kpop and all that. But itz bcz of their culture eventhough I started to show an interest in East Asian culture after I started watching kdramas and started listening to kpop. Idk why but I love East Asian culture more than South Asian culture. And I find east asian guys more good looking than any other guys.

I really like this video, I personally really like "asian" features because it's just different and I think it's beautiful, but I'd never date someone just because they're asian. I think preference is totally okay but some are just so extremely obsessed 🤷🏼♀️
So I was hanging out with some of my Korean friends that I randomly met in my country (Greece🇬🇷) and we were sitting and eating and i accidentally hitted him so I apologized but the thing is , in Greece we have the word "opa" and we use it in a daily basis and we say opa as an expression for when you are having too much fun or when you accidentally hit someone and also when we apologize we don’t really use "συγγνώμη" , which is the Greek word for sorry "signomi" but instead we just say "sorry" so I hitted him and I was like "Opa sorry" and then I realized what I just said and that there’s a different meaning for the word "Oppa" in Korea so I was extremely embarrassed

@@miredabraga5156 well obviously can tell apar t. I find Korean men more attractive but alot of Asian men are extremely handsome. Was just stating opinion. Everyone has their own preferences of course, but if u try to narrow ur options like that, u may not find a good match.

I love to know about different culture. I remember when I followed a Brazilian who married a Turkish and she makes nice videos, I got obsessed and studied the whole history of Turkey. I love Asian culture for it’s very different, I know Japan for I had friends who used to live 6 months in Japan and 1 year in Brazil, then I could be more in touch with that culture. Koreans is something new that called my attention. I love how they’re such a hardworking people, how the transformed the country with education and working hard. They really have my respect ✊

The thing is thats just the normal way you approach a person if you want to get to know to him/her... like some people just wanna talk to me cause I'm blonde with blue eyes and it kinda gets annoying😕 For me personally it's not the 'I just love Koreans/Asians' but I was in my live never attracted by appearance before I saw one Korean (I didnt even think the guy I was in love with for 5 1/2 years looked good😅🤷♀️) I didnt even know how people could say that a boy/man looked good🤷♀️ in my opinion Asians have a unique face shape and it attracts me kinda (maybe cause my parents are from Asia)...there are some western people with that as well but mostly thouse who are called 'attractive' look the same for me...just not my type but it hasnt anything to say cause like you said:" personallity has to match"🤗 And yeah I am attracted to Korean Culture, especially food culture cause my mom cooks Korean and they always say my eyes have a slight shape of an Asian but ok?😂
Ugh, you both are so beautiful, liked your channel, you got yourself a new sub ^^ Also, you two really look cute together And I really loved how he talked, cuz I really like kpop and other things like dramas and shows I guess, but it's not about that anymore i really fell in love with the language and the culture, I always liked something about Asian countries but Japan was always dearest to me so I'm hoping I'll get to go to university and study the language and culture, that's why I was curious what is a turn off cuz idk who knows maybe I'll meet an Asian guy and fall in love x3
I've been interested in eastern people since I was a kid. I've always wanted to date eastern guys.. or girls... I found K-pop last year and I loved it a lot but now whenever people ask me about my preference and I say Eastern people then they say shit like " Is it because of BTS?" Or " ew koreaboo! " It's so hard to explain to people smh. And anyway I've never met eastern people in my entire life.. I hope I run into someone someday :)
for real but irl i just like different music i like to listen and learn about other cultures other then my own same with men i dont care about were there from i just want to like them for who they are and i want them to like me for who i am
They are so lovely together... I like when i see couples with different ethnicity... You can see a mix of cultures that create a beautiful combination. You understand that no matter where you are from everyone has needs, dreams, wanna be loved. Some people decided to put borders, ok but...let's just don't put ''borders'' in our hearts...
I like the first tip/NONO XD I think this might be a tricky one if not careful about how you ask things. Like, I love to travel, wanna do it more, and by meeting asian people while studying abroad, I have become more and more interested in asian culture. So if I'd become friends with someone from korea/china or whatever. I can see myself asking stuff, especially about food!!! Asking about the culture. BUT I would also ask that person 'hey, I wanna get to know the food culture, why don't you show me some places you like??" > that way, you learn about the culture, but also about the preferences of that person!
The shipper fans only focus on sexualizing and not focusing and wanting to understand their personality. And those who aren't shipper fans get attacked and get called a hater and an antis. I have been attacked a few times which is whatever, but they don't know that can actually hurt them (kpop groups) in the future. Just my opinion and what I have seen.
I'm actually a shipper fan but I don't sexualize the idols and I focus more and try to understand their personalities. But you're right a lot of shipper fans sexualize the idols.
@@dailywonu9759 no go for it ship away! I should of added that not everybody who ships is like that but most of them are. There has been some fans well hardcore shipping fans saying if the people they ship aren't a thing or real their lives are a lie which they were saying that about themselves, or this is a worse one saw 2 comments in a video which the 2 fans literally said if their ship isn't real then they will end their lives. Also forcing the relationship is never good.
I've been watching your videos for a few days now, and as someone who speaks a fair amount of German I have always been confused about your comments about being called 'opa'. I just googled what it means in Korean, and now suddenly it makes a lot more sense.
Da mag man Asiaten lieber! 🎭💗

I really like this video, I personally really like "asian" features because it's just different and I think it's beautiful, but I'd never date someone just because they're asian. I think preference is totally okay but some are just so extremely obsessed 🤷🏼♀️
So I was hanging out with some of my Korean friends that I randomly met in my country (Greece🇬🇷) and we were sitting and eating and i accidentally hitted him so I apologized but the thing is , in Greece we have the word "opa" and we use it in a daily basis and we say opa as an expression for when you are having too much fun or when you accidentally hit someone and also when we apologize we don’t really use "συγγνώμη" , which is the Greek word for sorry "signomi" but instead we just say "sorry" so I hitted him and I was like "Opa sorry" and then I realized what I just said and that there’s a different meaning for the word "Oppa" in Korea so I was extremely embarrassed
u still dont have a korean boyfriend
„The most important thing is that your personality’s match, right?“
„Like our‘s“

ALWAYS REMEMBER NOT ALL KOREANS ARE AS HOT AND AS HANDSOME AS YOUR OPPA
edit: my father is not that handsome lol
😂
😂
Best comment I have read so far :D

Yeah my brother is far far faaaarr from good looking

"I wanna be your ulti" i died a little when he said that..you two are so cute together!!
That's such a weird question to ask lol. I've always loved good looking Asian men lol. Just being serious.
I'm actively very much into Korean men. but funny enough I am not even remotely attracted to general "Asians", being everyone else not Korean. I can tell apart very easily.
@@miredabraga5156 well obviously can tell apar t. I find Korean men more attractive but alot of Asian men are extremely handsome. Was just stating opinion. Everyone has their own preferences of course, but if u try to narrow ur options like that, u may not find a good match.
@@merryg3774 Already have one :/ Korean
@@miredabraga5156 ok, that's great. U said u were actively into Korean men lol. Main point I wasn't singling u out. I was saying in general. I'm sure some want ONLY Korean. I was stating an opinion though on my behalf.
@@merryg3774 Yes I meant there are specific traits and physical features that make Koreans different from others and I'm only into Koreans... there are tons like me lmao. I couldn't care less about chinese or vietnamese guys for example
Farina 2019: I think I never called him oppa.
Farina 2020: Hello! Let's prank my boyfriend calling him oppa.
Oke bye
Yesss omg🤣
I love your channel I will never get tired of your content. LOVE YOU ❤️😊
She is so pretty, I love the way she smiles, I wish I had such stunning looks like her!!
I love your videos❤️
Kisses from Spain beautiful😘

2:32 "like ours".....I died. THAT was soooooooo cuteeee
And here I am, the only person who gets set up by friends or meeting guys while having drinking battles at random bars and shouting “the king in the north” (true story) 😂👻
😂 no but that would be funny to see.
You guys are so cute together❤
I love your video's
is it just me but does he look a bit like jisung/han (stray kids) & jungkook??
He does a little bit look like jungkook when he smiles
@@Natalie-ko8os he has the bunny smile vibes...😂💜
He also looks like this guy named Jun Curry Ahn
would be another way not NOT approaching an asian guy. its like talking to a black guy, "hey you look like will smith"
he looks from one angle the exact as jk
You guys are so cute together. I can tell you really care about each other.
I think it’s important to text a lot at the bery beggining if the relationship 😹 you’re so cute together
You guys are so cute together, makes me happy just watching you.
Marry her please
*Love this vidéo It's so relatable 😭 some girls really freaking pissed me off because the influence of K-pop Idol . People are like they are just accept them like they are .*
_She smile during all the vidéo while looking at him 💕✨ so much love I Hope you will still have a really good life together_
“I like feeling special”
Everyone in the comment- You look like Jungkook..!
Like yes but why 🤦♀️😂
YOUR VIDEOS ARE MY MEDICINE. IT BRINGS ME SMILE AND THANK YOU FOR THAT
The thing is thats just the normal way you approach a person if you want to get to know to him/her... like some people just wanna talk to me cause I'm blonde with blue eyes and it kinda gets annoying😕
For me personally it's not the 'I just love Koreans/Asians' but I was in my live never attracted by appearance before I saw one Korean (I didnt even think the guy I was in love with for 5 1/2 years looked good😅🤷♀️) I didnt even know how people could say that a boy/man looked good🤷♀️ in my opinion Asians have a unique face shape and it attracts me kinda (maybe cause my parents are from Asia)...there are some western people with that as well but mostly thouse who are called 'attractive' look the same for me...just not my type but it hasnt anything to say cause like you said:" personallity has to match"🤗
And yeah I am attracted to Korean Culture, especially food culture cause my mom cooks Korean and they always say my eyes have a slight shape of an Asian but ok?😂
You two look so good together! I could see the chemistry between you two 😊 nice vid
You guys are actualy the cutest couple I have ever seen! I love your videos 💙💙💙
Richtig lustig😂
Ugh, you both are so beautiful, liked your channel, you got yourself a new sub ^^
Also, you two really look cute together
And I really loved how he talked, cuz I really like kpop and other things like dramas and shows I guess, but it's not about that anymore i really fell in love with the language and the culture, I always liked something about Asian countries but Japan was always dearest to me so I'm hoping I'll get to go to university and study the language and culture, that's why I was curious what is a turn off cuz idk who knows maybe I'll meet an Asian guy and fall in love x3
New favorite channel you guys are so cute together
you guys make a beautiful couple, I truly love seeing you together, wish you all the best in the world
I've been interested in eastern people since I was a kid.
Get you someone who would look at you the way Farina looks at Dongin ♥️
Omg why does your boyfriend looks like Jungkook he’s so cute ahhhh
Naomi Martinez dafuq he looks nothing like kookie 🙄🤦🏾♀️
He reminded me of JK too, but I think it's only his mouth ?? Idk, he doesn't look like him exactly but there's something about him though...
It's the hairstyle 😂
julz wtffffffffffff nooo 😦
parnesian parrapio that’s your opinion annoying and I bet you don’t even know how he looks like
It's just so precious the way he stares at her when she talks...😔
My mother thinks im gonna date a korean bc im into kpop and im like "no mother omg🤦🏻♀️"
Unknown You MY MOM IS THE SAME WAY OMG
I laughed sorry........😆😄 Hahaha
for real but irl i just like different music i like to listen and learn about other cultures other then my own same with men i dont care about were there from i just want to like them for who they are and i want them to like me for who i am
Thanks Farina! Yes I am very interested in Korean culture and Korean men XD
Now I know what to expect! I LOVE U FARINA!! I'll always look up to you!
You guys are so cute, I'm so happy that you seem happy and aren't with each other just for your ethnicity

You guys are my favorite couple on youtube omg i am fangirling alot 😍😍😍😘
I’m crying this is so cute 😭❤️
You rly love that earring u bought in Korea right? xD
You and others are able to seperate shipping and loving their personalities and who they are, but most of them has said some very sad things about their shipping couple. There has been some fans well hardcore shipping fans saying if the people they ship aren't a thing or real their lives are a lie which they were saying that about themselves, or this is a worse one saw 2 comments in a video which the 2 fans literally said if their ship isn't real then they will end their lives. Not all the people that ship say those things but the hardcore ones do and I do not think who ever they are fans of would like to hear that.
@@awesomejb9646 I agree with you. Some of them take the shipping to a whole new level.
Ikr.. Like i saw a vkook explanation and the person whas littelry pointing on how their 🍆was looking when they were together.. Idols can't even breath cause for the shippers it's gonna be a hiden messege under this too..
@@Αφροδιτη-ψ9ο it is ridiculous. Also that is not good and that tells people outside of kpop that it is gaypop and it is not like that at all. So those shipping videos ruin them than does good. In America they don't do this with boy groups it is only in Korea when they aren't too fond of the LGBTQ community so this hurts them then anything really. Also forcing the relationship is never good.
the way he looked when she said how would you like to be approached!!!!!! too cute!!!
hii guys finally come to you miss you so much farina you look so beautiful I support you ❤️❤️❤️💜💜💜🧐
I've been watching your videos for a few days now, and as someone who speaks a fair amount of German I have always been confused about your comments about being called 'opa'. I just googled what it means in Korean, and now suddenly it makes a lot more sense.
Malaysian?Oh hey,I’m from Malaysia 👋🏼👋🏼🙈🙈 happened to drop by this video because it popped out in my list
P.s you did amazing job 👌🏼

Why are you two so cute..✊💕🌚
This video is soo good amd I think more people should know these things and learn to be more respectful 🙏😊
Da mag man Asiaten lieber! 🎭💗
I love you guys you make me laugh every time I want your videos 💜
