Gosh nearly missed this one you were late releasing it on Sunday. I was already up and about! Nice work that’s back together quicker than I expected! Looks great
The bronze or copper parts you made , are they known as sacrifice parts. They ware instead of the steel parts which are harder to make. Also what does the governor do when the engine is running. Great video 👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@markclifton14 Not really known as sacrifice part. They are designed to have a small oil film in between them and not touch and wear, however like you said being bronze if they do wear it will mainly destroy the bronze first. I’ll go into how they work on the next video. 👍 Cheers
I love going to steam fairs. the sounds, the smell of Coal, oil and steam. Thanks for posting....
Hi Norm. Thank you for my weekly “heavy iron” fix. Steady work. Looking good, 👏👏👍😀

Nice work, Norm, shame about the pitted balls, but they still look better than the painted ones.

It’s a good job it’s not gold you’re using with the amount you use!😆. Another little job knocked off👌👍
@@casto- Definitely not gold it cuts differently in the lathe 😁
Nice work. One request, please don't use your finger to check for the presence of a burr on the lathe!
