Hey Jeff, I saw your post in the Facebook group and then I started watching some of your videos and man, such good stuff! Thanks for sharing you knowledge and experience! Love this challenge and the whole #TTUTT idea. I just uploaded my entry, but it doesn't seem to be showing up when I search for the hashtag even though I have the hashtag in title and description and tags. Hope it shows up soon. Anyway, thanks for doing this challenge!
What an amazing video! I love the transition between the place where you work going from a creepy dump to a place of light and wonder and renewel. So lovely! I love the smile in your eye as well. It was just very special to see.
So I uploaded my video and then watched all of the other videos. Wow is all I can say. After watching the videos I feel I have so much to learn, that is why I love your channel.
The thing under the thing! Such a great concept. So much of social media is trying to adhere to other people's ideas when in reality diving in on your own interests and passions is what truly helps you grow as a person! Cheers
Awesome video & challenge, Jeff!! LOL when you said, "and I just told you about the wrong building!" Seriously, your cinematography is getting sooooo good! I am going to do your challenge! (And now, I'm scared!).
Thanks, Anne! Ya know, the interesting thing about the shooting in this video is that I was consciously seeing how far I could push the variation between wide and extreme closeup. That contrast in focal length can be really cool. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
@@StoryGreenlight I posted my video. It was harder than I thought! And I'll be honest, I'm not quite sure I was successful. But I definitely learned a lot from doing this! I've been enjoying watching other people's challenges. I'm looking forward to hearing your take on the most successful ones. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets it logically, but has had a hard time putting it into practice! Thanks for having this challenge!
Our lives just naturally have things under things under things...so many layers. Sometimes people even pick up on those things. Other times not. But we know and so we keep on trying to document these things...these profoundly deep things about life. ❤ Great communicators? No. Filmmakers? Heck no. Just lots and lots of "things"...
Jeff, got a question for you, I have been thinking to making an interesting 2-3 min long video with my truck, with some exciting, fun, unique angles, the process might take a while so I’ll have to plan different shots and angles and then put it all together later on once done, any advice or ideas on how I can plan things to not be all over the place, writing things on paper, drawing things out? Do couple video ideas then put together and regroup? Thanks :)
Sure - decide what you want your video to be about. Make a list of things you want to include. Shoot whatever still needs to be shot. Collect all the elements in one place and start putting them together with your editing program. Revise as you need to. Does that help?
Story Greenlight yes, I usually don’t write stuff down, while try to record 3 different video projects at once then get overwhelmed, since I do all my vid editing on iPhone I need to maybe make different folders for different project vid clips
Short answer to potentially long conversation - yes. Though if your audience isn't old enough to comprehend subtext in general, you might have to alter the way you approach things. Probably making the main associations much more obvious than you would for adult folk.
Just barely got in under the wire, but I think I made it (although I hate when YT adds 1 second to the video 😂 ) Thanks, so much for doing this challenge, Jeff. It was just that... a challenge.
@@StoryGreenlight (Jeff) thank you so much. This challenge made me stretch my thinking and really get creative. I'm so glad it made sense and came across well. I'm definitely gonna be applying TTUTT a whole lot more.
@@StoryGreenlight yes, exactly. I was just thinking about how Jesus' parables were all like that and even his object lessons as well (widow's mite/sacrificial giving). It just took me answering your challenge to start connecting the dots. 🤣🤯
awsome challenge ...i hope this hillbilly is up to it ...i have soe ideas but i dot have the pictures to go with it ...i didnt take pictures in my younger years and that is a story in itself lol ...but im gonna take the bull by the horns an give it a wack aspathetic as it might be lol ...jeff i really do apreciat all the tips you give us ...they are very helpfull
I've been saving an idea for my (basically dead) channel "MrTwostring." I wonder if this is the time to bring it out. Or... what could I do in English about a thing under the *about Esperanto* thing? Or... something for my general language learning channel. Two weeks? Really. I suppose nothing motivates like a deadline.
I hope I'm not a day late with this, but I just uploaded my challenge video: ua-cam.com/video/AdY-Ui9zNnI/v-deo.html Had a great time thinking through this and making the video. Your channel has been super helpful in thinking through videos and storytelling. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Kate! It was pretty cool to discover that open white suite the other day - I walked in and it was just glowing all by itself. :-)

YES!!! Thank you, Jeff.
Heck yeah, dude. You officially have a project with a due date!
@@StoryGreenlight If only I had a Thing Under the Thing idea..... lol. Thanks again. Great talking to you yesterday! Have a great weekend.

Jeff, we always love your videos and training! I was wondering does this concept of “TTUTT” work for young children’s content as well??
Short answer to potentially long conversation - yes. Though if your audience isn't old enough to comprehend subtext in general, you might have to alter the way you approach things. Probably making the main associations much more obvious than you would for adult folk.
@@StoryGreenlight Awesome! Thanks for answering! I'll have to dig into this, learn it and try to apply it. 😃

Alriiiiiight!! 😬👍
Great challenge idea. I'm interested to see what other people come up with.
Same here!
Challenge complete ✅ but I went over the 2 min requirement 🙈. Still learning 😊
No worries. Learning is good!
