To boot in Firmware-Update-Mode hold the "bank up" and "bank down" buttons while connecting to the PC. That's it!

I can't update it, when I start zoom effect manager I have flash fill 100%, does anyone know why?
Your great description has really helped me to understand the process. I intend to add the MS-60B effects to my MS-70CDR. I'm hoping this will allow me to have 6 FX in the chain rather than only 4, which is the limit of the MS-60B.

Already posted that I like having the extra fx but I found out there is a downside to this hack/update:
Some fx that I already had, can no longer be adjusted with the expression pedal on my G1Xon.
Before, I could, for instance, use the expression pedal to change the mix amount of the Particle Reverb, the delaytime of the Carbon Delay or the depth of the Super Chorus.
When I select the parameter I want to use with the expression pedal in the Patch Settings it says "None" for some pedals now after using this hack/update..
Anyone found a solution for this?
Having the extra fx is great but maybe I'll change back to the factory settings so I can use the expression pedal again like I did before.
what fx are affected with expression pedal? I would like to know, because I would like to have some of the new fx
When I connect it to the PC, the pedalboard turns off and on by itself and doesn't let me go any further since it doesn't even get to the message that says the firmware update, Can you help me please?

Hi, I tried to add more effects to my zoom ms-70. But it gave me an error when I did it, and the device was waiting for the update, then I turned it off and turned it back on, but no longer turned on, has anyone happened? Have you found any solution?

The hardware of the G1ON and G1XON seems the same. I have the G1ON (no expression pedal but the onboard connections for it), i would like to update to the G1XON so i can use the PEDAL functionality. Do you think that with this firmware update i can use de PEDAL functionality connecting the onboard jumpers of my G1ON to a potentiometer?

Hi. When I try to run 'ZEM 1.1.0' I get the message "Application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized.
Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." I have tried to remedy this by installing PyQt5 and Python, but still no-go.
I notice in your ZEM folder you have a .dll file I don't, msvcr120.dll, dated 2013. Have you added this to make the ZEM work?
I'm not quite sure, there might be update changes. I just downloaded the application from their website and did what I showed in the video. Just make sure that you download the files from the website
An update is exactly what has happened. The one I downloaded must have been incomplete. There are now 1.1.0 and 1.1.1 versions and they both work. Cheers Ren.

Bro ask ako ng advice sau, bibili sana ako ng fx pedal,ms 50g.. pero gusto ko rin ng mga ambient sound, currently i am using acoustic guitar pero sooner gusto ko bumili ng electric guitar.so perfect sakin ang 50g.. since hilig ko rin ambient sound gusto ko sana macopy sa 50g ang mga nice patch from cdr 70, possible ba yon?more power to your channel.
Sir I am not sure with that kasi hidi ko pa po a try gumamit ng 50g pero from what I know you can add effects to your 50g using zoom effects manager. Zoom is known for its ambient effects naman po so I guess you'll get what you want after modifying your 50g. Thank you for the support sir!

It depends on the memory sir and the default max number of effects your unit can handle. Try it for yourself and see sir. You can just not save the modified version if you don't like the results
