You're almost right. The pattern is (old gen) x 2 = (new gen remake)
Hence Gen 1 remakes in Gen 3, Gen 2 in Gen 4, Gen 3 in Gen 6, and (probably) Gen 4 in Gen 8. This means if there are Gen 5 remakes, they'll be in Gen 10.

lmao I remember fighting Grimsley I had a scraffty which had the ability moxie were it increases your attack everytime you K.O. a Pokémon and I spammed high jump kick 😂😂🤣
If you have a pokemon with moxie (and you know how to properly use it), it's almost a guaranteed win. Luckily my own Scrafty had it, but I ran brick break instead...With my luck I ain't risking a miss XD

Played this for the first time a few years ago I quit before the first badge because the movement and pixels feel slow. Currently playing on Randomizer and thank goodness for speed up.
The most frustrating Pokémon League I’ve ever faced but I still smile when I look back on it

tbh the only elite four i like the most is Unova's one, really challenging..
it is, i also like how if you want to rechalenge them, they get significantly buffed, with more pokemon and higher levels

The way skarmory's wings moved in gen 5 is so satisfying
I remember that while fighting Caitlin I used Galvantula, then used signal beam to Reuniclus who started using Recover, then we started a Siganl Beam-Recover loop until Reuniclus decided to use Psychic so I could finish it, the rest of the battle was just Galvantula and Samurott sweeping

ive never played gen 5, but im sure it was hecking challenging, and bonechilling.
It really was. Some of the music in this gen absolutely felt like music you'd hear during a challenge. Not to mention how hard the elite 4 is in the first place.

@@klrn7869 Fr though. The only easy one for me was the dark type guy because I had a fighting type on my team.
The fighting guy has always given me troubles because I never use psychic types, and he always has rock moves.
@@shellshockedbros4458 For me the easy one was the ghost type since somehow i ended always in my team with something super efective to ghost, but yeah i also struggle with the fighting type.
The rematch for this elite four is hard... definitely hardest rematch imo
I distinctally remember beating Iris for the first time. It was an interesting reaction.
She is the weakest Champion I had as Enemy.

In the anime: Iris is a somewhat weak Pokémon trainer looking for dragon types to train.
In game: A flipping literal star god who rules over Unova and the dragon types, and beats everyone with a single pokemon most of the time
(Except for me and a bunch of other people? I found her to be extremely easy but one of the hardest at the same time.)
But yeah, I'm pretty sure gen 5 gets most of the hate from the anime.
This is one of the best videos I have seen here in UA-cam in connection with Pokemon.

Seriously. It takes forever to grind after a while. But not only that, the Pokemon they have, have almost MAX EVS AND IVS.
I know this because I used a game shark thing and caught their Pokemon when I was younger.
So they have great stats and most of them even max out their pokemons power points.

Those are the battles I like to see, battles where the player doesn't defeat the foe Pokémon with a single attack. You can't enjoy a battle like that! Now this is interesting.
Beating this Elite 4 was tough. And I used train for hours at a time.
Toughest Unova Elite 4 members are Shauntal and Caitlyn IMO
Is it me, or does half of everyone who played this game have Samurott, Lucario and Arcanine on their teams? Don't get me wrong, I had this combo long before realising a load of people did the same, it's just an observation, that's all

Lucario became my favorite pokemon because of this game, but I will say no, the only one I did have on my team was Lucario

In my opinion the best Unova starter would be Tepig because that was my starter in Pokemon Black
For me, it's snivy. B2 was my first game, and I made it to the e4 by spamming random moves on serperior and barely reading anything so for me it's good

If it makes you feel better, back when I first got the game I LOVED grass types so I had a Serperior, Lilligant, and Sawsbuck. Although unbalanced, once my Lilligant learned petal dance it still did pretty well.
They were really intimidating. Mainly because of that theme.
I remember getting this game when I was 7,but I only go to do the first 4 gyms cause I lost my 3ds in my house 7 years has passed and im still looking for it.

I felt this game easier than Sinnoh, I wanted something more challenging so I ran to the closest friend with black 2 and used the challenge key.
It was still easy.
If you want an actual hard version of this game. Play pokemon Blaze black 2

In the challenge mode they have more pokemon and each one is stronger, but yeah in nornal mode they only have 4 pokemons.

If ghosts thrive in the dark then why are they weak to dark?
I think it might be that since most early ghost type moves are related to shadows (shadow claw, shadow ball, phantom force), dark negates that. Shadows cant be in a place with no light, so that may be why it was designed as such.
