Thank you so much for a brilliant explanation of atomic mass. I recently learnt the first 56 elements in the periodic table and you have inspired me to delve more into this exciting realm.

Great way of teaching. I have been following your videos for years, I like the clarity and the way you drive to the point in your lessons, I think all teaching should be done this way. Thank you.😊

Excellent teaching. Though I loved my school and the teachers, sitting down 🪑 and studying felt a bit dry and I would've learnt, understood and retained more if I had access to videos that I could watch and listen to all day long. Anyway, I went to school way before the Internet and relearning an important subject like Chemistry now feels very interesting.

I have always wondered what Average mass was.
The comment on Mass defect was amazing . I had no idea that Einstein equation would explain it .
    Ciência is amazing!

Thank you again very much professor I’m sorry I missed this lesson before your most recent so I’m gonna watch this one first. Some days I feel confident and that I’m retaining everything and other days I tend to get discouraged and feel like I’m behind. 🤷‍♂️

When i was watching this video in college he just sounded like the teacher from Charlie Brown. I think i only understood less than 10 percent of it. Now its been 14 years since i graduated and decided to watch this video again and everything makes sense!! I dont know if I am smarter or more patient now, but I actually enjoyed his lesson, Its not like watching something on Netflix but I love how I am having a bit of fun learning!. sucks I couldnt have this kind of joy back then. I most likely would of became more successful.

I don't think mass(kg) is a commercial unit. Is the mass of aluminium is less than that of iron?

    Hi,
Given cosx=0 and asked to find all solutions, is it correct to say,
    pi/2 + kpi where k is a integer.
    I keep seeing solutions of pi/2 + 2kpi and 3pi/2 + 2kpi...
However isn't my solution of pi/2 +kpi still going to find all solutions where cosx=0..?

Your answer is correct! You can see here in the solution the nPi. www.wolframalpha.com/input?i=solve+cos%28x%29%3D0

    How did u get 13.00335 for the mass. Cuz 12 +1.0087 =13.0087

But if it's average why is it not divided by two because there are 2 isotopes

    Mass is in Counterspace.

Cause when Protons and Neutrons merge, there's less surface area.
