I watched you religiously about 2 years ago but had 2 surgeries and then my Mom retired and hurt herself so I moved in with her and put all my stitching away and took care of her. Now I'm moving in with her full-time and am cleaning out my house and all my stitching and other crafting interests and got back on floss tube and was so darn happy to find you again. Can't wait to get back to stitching.😊

I just wanted to comment and say how wonderful it is that you have 88 WIPs, I have many and if I had more bags to store projects in my number would be up close to yours. Also, cross stitching is a hobby. It is done because we love it. We love it for various reasons and we should never judge another for picking this hobby. Great video. Thanks for sharing.❤❤

Just started watching and loved you mentioning a large amount of projects. I realised that i don't get the same thrill when finishing something as when i stitch it. Stitching the project feels like living in a fantasy world of imagining all the possibilities of the project. When it is done, those thoughts and feelings are done too. Same reason why i like to read fiction instead of non-fiction.
I haven't been able to stitch since March under Dr's. order I get migraines every I've done everything my Neurologist told me. Tried nerve block shots in my head going to see a new dr. next week I want to stitch so much. I love your WIPs you introduced me to more things than I can put here thank you

How do you dye your fabrics, will you ever show your dyeing process? Your self-made pieces look so beautiful. Also how many strands do you use on 36 count and 40+ count?
My dyeing process is usually just throwing random stuff together and seeing how it turns out 🤣 I will consider filming it sometime! I use one strand on 40 count and almost always one strand on 36 count too
I'm stitching on Goth Thirza while watching! So many good wips to choose from. Do you ever think of shortening any of the larger pieces in order to get some smaller, quicker finishes? I've been thinking about that for some of the year-long sals and large samplery pieces. Ok, going back to stitching and watching!
@@kansascitygirlinacoloradow4285 I've been thinking about this too, even hashtags for it to make it a SAL, something like SnackSizedSamplerSAL or SamplerSnackSAL. Stitch just a little bit of a pattern to get a taste of it and be ok with not finishing the whole thing. This would help decrease my WIP count for sure!
Julie - how I’ve missed your videos!!!! (I had fallen off the Flosstube wagon - way off! But what a way to climb back aboard!). WIP parades are SO dangerous. There are WAY too many that I want to start now, after watching! (And I’d love a teensy hint about the fabric dyer - just cuz I have my own idea of who it might be. lol!! 🫖). Mother Nature has hilariously tiny T Rex hands. But she is gorgeous. Your Reaching Skyward is so gorgeous, I didn't recognize it as the SAL. Breathtaking. I know you don't like backstitching, but maybe you could backstitch the border in a color that would save your from frogging and restitching.... The yellow is actually beautiful on screen, but the pattern within it is what is lost.
Omg now I will never unsee the tiny hands! 🫣 and you’re right - what bothers me about the yellow is that the Assisi pattern doesn’t show. I need to “audition” some other colors
Could the fabric company that you didn't want to mention be Fortnight Fabrics? I have been trying to figure out all this time how to use my gift card code from them to get fabric. Their company just disappeared. 😢. I am so disappointed with them especially at the time I bought the gift card code I was being supportive and they let me down.
Oh actually it was another that’s still in business but would not give them any business knowingly! Fortnight Fabrics - there’s some question about what exactly happened with them but they are closed up for sure. I’m sorry that happened to you!

Loved the wip parade. so many cool projects. I recently got interested in samplers due to Thirza goes goth and have found a few more with bold colors.
This was such fun - and helped me get a finish on one of my oldest WIPS! The cleanups are always the worst! Hope you got an extra iced coffee.

It’s actually finished and in my bin of stuff to be FFOed!!! I know, shocking! I finally finished a SAL 🤣
Enjoyed this WIP parade. Just a note about Fox and Rabbit stitchalongs - Bren now says the SAL is free until end of Dec, charged from Jan 1st.
