That was a hard hitting 200 gram cake and I like more symmetrical breaks. I have upped my ball shell rack situation and a I am using real ball shells more in my shows. It helps when you use pro line products and some OL stuff as well. Great demo pyro
@@jam7504 I've only shot a few ball shell kits. Usually when I have, I've felt like the breaks were much smaller than with cans. Do the pro line and OL products larger diameter balls?
@@stevethepyro420 Someone else just mentioned the loud breaks too. I hadn't really thought about it but the Pyro Demon and Diablo cakes did break with a nice loud pop. Now I'm wondering if the cannister loads have anything to do with that.🤔
@@Wakeup4276 I've heard that the Badda Boom family of brands uses smaller lift charges to get extra comp into the breaks. I've had several of their cakes have stars hitting the ground.
@ yea but there is other in house brands that hit as hard without real lift issues. Don’t get me wrong when they are on sale for $3-$8 i would buy again.
Great video and I love that cake. It’s very hard-hitting. I love Canice salad cakes or a bottle of shell cakes whatever you wanna call them like patriotism super stunt those have real ball shelves in them as you know and definitely better in a show if you’re doing a show, but if you’re just doing a demo, I love it either way and keep up the awesome work on your videos💯✌️🤟
@@VermontPyroBoys802 yeah if you see patriotism by cutting edge, that’s a balls shell cake and it’s usually pretty cheap and it’s really really nice red white and blue fax and agreed🤟
Another popping 200 gm cake!! Symmetrical breaks aren’t a must have for me. I still get to light it and listen to it fire upwards and then listen to it blowup in the air with bright colors. If it’s a perfect break then that’s a bonus!
@@mikeharcharik2975 Now that you mentioned it, I didn't really think about the sound part. I notice if a given firework is really loud (at Pyro Camp they can really echo through the mountains) but unless I'm shooting salutes I've usually considered the "pop" more as the means of getting a great, beautiful break.
@@jayssafeandsane When it comes to artillery shells, I definitely prefer cans to ball shells because of the break size. With cakes, I could probably go either way.
The problem with using can-type rounds in a cake is well illustrated by this demo - high risk of "flat breaks". Ball rounds capable of creating the same break size would make this cake much more consistent in execution. I'm not convinced that you have to use can-type rounds to get "big breaks". This cake would shoot so much better with spherical breaks.
Fascinating. I don't know that much about cans vs. balls in cakes. There must be a reason that Pyro Demon made that choice but at least half of the breaks were really flat.
@@Wakeup4276 The flat break issue can also arise with special effect canister shells (think ring, jelly fish, etc) - because the canister cartridge can tumble in its ascent after the lift charge is ignited. Sometimes the effect's execution is premised on the burst charge going off while the canister cartridge is roughly vertical in orientation. The more horizontal the canister is when it bursts, the break can flatten.
@ i have been very lucky with ring cans esp raccoon ring breakers, but I had 2 ring cakes By pyro demon last 4th and one of them more than half broke flat.
Very nice
Great banger! Loud breaks and really nice colors!
Nice cake 🎆👍
Their 12 shot cakes hit hard! Nice demo!
They're so good! I've got one more of their twelve shots in the stash and a few more Pyro Demon goodies as well. This is a really fun brand.
That was a Great cake!👍I'd buy one 4sure 💯
It was really fun. The first cake of the evening that night 😃
Love Pyro Demon cakes. I like the canister effect 🎆🎇
If you can ever make it over to Hookset (probably around 2 hours from you), she's got TONS of Pyro Demon. Very nice prices on cakes too.😃👍

Nice loud big breaks is what I like! This cake definitely has that, also reminds me of the pyro diablo dino cakes 👍🔥💥🎂

I have tried or have alot of their 200g cakes. As great as they are my one complaint is they definitely break too low.

symmetry is preferable, but I'll take big breaks , has some bright colors
