Nice set up. Good video, not too long but thorough. I use a CLC backpack the one with a gazillion pockets. I was curious about the Dewalt backpack and your video answered alot of my questions. Im an older guy with a concern for his back so i ALWAYS use a wheelie to cart my tools around. Backpacks are great compact option.
Regarding your drywall saw and it fraying the material. I took some plastic pipe, about 20mm or 3/4 inch should do it. Cut it slightly longer than the blade. Put it into a saucepan, heat up the water, and on pulling it out, flattened one end of the pipe to fit the widest part of the blade so it looks like a scabbard. If it's a little stiff and isn't able to be molded into shape, put it back in the hot water for a little longer. Put the pipe through the elastic at the top, where you normally store your longer screwdrivers and the drywall saw can then be stored safely in you bag. Works for me.
Great review man. I'm a first term apprentice and am trying to decide which tool backpack to get. I was leaning towards Klein but now you got me thinking this is the better way to go. Appreciate you taking the time to post this!
@phillip perkins Funny, because the guys who show up with just a pouch full of tools are always the ones asking me if they can borrow things.... I'm going to start saying no, so the dudes like you can stop freeloading.
Hey great video bro I’m definitely thinking of buying this backpack. Only question I have is, is the backpack built tough like the shoulder straps? Do they seem like they will tear off?
Thank you for sharing! Been doing my research on different tech bags, and I like this one for its layout and space! Have you experienced it falling/tipping over at all? I sometimes work where I don’t have much to lean a bag on, and would like something that stands up alone... Appreciate your input!
I am in BC. My Son starting apprenticeship and noticed your tools have evolved. Would love to hear what tools as a Canadian you suggest having gone through same process. Bought him the Klein apprentice set and some channel locks as a start. Like to know your experience with Canadian pricing.

D. Knibb thank you. Glad I could help. The backpack is starting to wear out a bit on the back support padding unfortunately though.

Stephen Madrosen I tried out the Klein as well, but didnt have near as much storage as this one. Thanks for watching
Get this or the clc l255 (same bag with a few small differences). Love mine. Klein and Milwaukee don't have near enough storage.

Nice, seems to stand upright on it's own.
Thanks for showing off the backpack and your 'loadout' with it.
Anytime!

Hey great video, it's been a few years how has it held up? Still using it?
New bag with new tools thought that was funny. I work on appliances. That bag looks awesome to have.
It was a good shopping day, bag is still holding up beautifully. I switch bags quite often but i always find myself coming back to this one.

Also, I really like the small parts organizer in your video!! Have any info on what brand/model it is?
How is it now, 5 years on...?
The only thing I wish they would add is a outside loop for a hammer
All review no bs. nice
phone new thank you. Might have to start reviewing more tools.
Nice vid. I do apartment maintenance and my lasted a year. Clc makes good bags.
Good review. Is it comfortable to carry on your back 7 while climbing ladders etc.?
Kelly Zabriskie
The bottom puts a bit of hard plastic pressure on the back, but quite comfortable considering all the wieght i have in it.
good video ,thanks for sharing.
You need a durable plastic bottom for plumber tools...
Been beating the fuck out of mine for about 7 months now, still good 😀
Where in Canada are you?
Near Ottawa

How much?
AirPro K i paid $119 CAD at Home Depot
nice
it cost 14000 pesos here in the phillipines..so expensive...no ordinary electrician can afford it..😆😆
so you stop using your milwaukee backpack?
Joseph Diggs I had the milwaukee tech bag and have switched full time to this bag. A lot more room in this one.
Ok it looks bigger
It nice for a helper but don't buy it most of my tool didn't fit in there but the veto pro
show stopper I found it had lots of room myself, but poor construction quality. Zippers are horrible.
