- I want to once again thank everypony for your support and love! I never thought I'd reach this level in subs, though this is never my primary focus. It's nice t know that other people are enjoying what I do. With that I hope you enjoy this vid and keep an eye out for those rainbows!

This was a nice backstory. I also like the character reference sheet of your pony. I'm actually thinking of putting together a character reference sheet of a lot of the analysts to show their size compared to each other.

and it would make scaling ocs in videos a lot easier. Plus it's weird to see some ocs scaled different in videos. Such as Dawillstanator is taller than TK one minute and then he's about the same size as TK in another video.

Well done. I was a bit confused about the sudden DBZ crossover that happened (tbh my thought process was this 'OK, Dimension rift... Creature from another dimension... DBZ??? ...What? ...Alright let's see where this goes'), but once I reached the end I understood what you were doing and personally approve 100% on that choice. Consider this video liked and given a nod of approval.
P.S. The "Accidentally sent to the Alicorn Dimension" bit was surprisingly well done, and if there was a fanfic about that backstory, I would honestly read it.
I love how well everything aligned with what we've seen of her. Especially the confidence parts. In seven nation army we see her, though having her doubts at first, prepared to stand up to Alicorn Amulet Pumped up Dustykatt, and then he says "Ello darlin'" and she just cracks and runs away screaming.
This is a classic example of how good alicorn OCs can be just as good as any other! Mad Munchkin would be proud.
LightningBlizz, your Oc sound more to me like a Ponysona (a character made almost purely of you and you only), considering the parents divirce and your husband oc (which wound like a ponysonq to me, or whqtever it isncalled) and the rift being youtube.

That's what a sona is. A character made just for you. An oc is a character that is purely made to fit in a universe and has its own personality.

Vix the Vixen A lot of people make the quick connection between “Alicorn OC” and “Mary Sue”.
Not me, though. The first time I saw her was in joshscorcher’s “The Fairy Mountain”, where she was hardly acting the part of a Mary Sue.

Lighhtning Bliss really has the best design of all the reviewers. Most are either standard ponies or look like they could be in another series. But Lightning Bliss looks very distinct while still being undoubtably a pony. The white, black and rainbow colorscheme also just looks really nice.
She looks really adorable without being unnatural in any way.

This is like the only backstory i have seen with an alicorn oc. Great job on it! It was definitely very creative!
LOVE your Equestria Girls OC, such a stylish look.
Also, the tear that brought Sub-Zero to Equestria may have been a result of him fighting off the evil forces. As a fantasy nerd/fantasy writer, I've learned that a large amount of power going critical like that could bring some odd results.
To this day, it STILL amazes me that a member of Frieza's could be a GOOD guy. But then; it's like the old saying goes, one tree does not equal a whole forest.
If my OC, Skarin were to cross paths with Sub-Zero and heard how he met you. He would, no doubt welcome Zero as a friend and ally.
About the Rift Cafe, I had a distinct feeling that it might've been the Analysts' base of operations or their home away from home.
What with all the doors being in the same place and all.
But there was also the idea that it was probably just a club where you guys' OCs would hang out, after the reviews/collabs were over. This new info on the cafe is really interesting.
One last thing, though; I wonder where your OC's siblings are? I imagine seeing them pop up suddenly in the cafe or in your home would be hilariously interesting
I actually thought this story was nice, for a bit.... But when you suddenly mix in a Dragonball xenoverse oc into yours, it really made me ROTFLOL! And suddenly, I was unable to take any of the story seriously after that. Though, to be honest, I've had similar power fantasies and daydreams, so I can't really judge you for your choices. Your content is entertaining, and your collabs are very funny, and I just enjoy your work. So, to be simple: Lightning Bliss, keep being you!

I really like your OC's backstory...only thing that I can think of to ask is will there ever be SubBliss fillies and colts galloping around to follow in their unique heritage yet wonderful heritage? Congrats Lightning Bliss I look forward to seeing your future reviews and animations. :) Since I was introduced to you through Dr. Wolf's/the Rift Cafe's TF Analysis videos, I've been always interested in seeing your next review or work. Your OC though different from your typical pony is easy on the eyes and the voice matches. Your humor can be top-notch and well timed and your animation when it comes up tends to be wonderful yet simple at times.

Okay I really have to say this and I don't usually write comments to any videos just give a thumbs up but this back story GAVE ME LIFE!!! It was pretty deep and well balanced. However the part with sub zero just cracked me up and made me aww. I was just imagining a really buff muscled dragon ball character kissing and marrying and cute alicorn... Truly put a smile on my face and made me subscribe. ( just want to ask, did anyone think of the children?)

It’s easy to make the quick assumption that “alicorn OC” equals “Mary Sue”. I like Lightning Bliss, but you have to admit, she _does_ have a pretty extravagant design.

The backstory got a little weird with the DB crossover, but I really appreciate that you made an effort to incorporate your husband's OC into your OC's backstory.
hey lightning bless congratulations i happened to be a newcomer well sort of a newcomer I admire your work
I get that Sub-Zero is your husband's OC, but a cross-over with the DBZ universe that leads you both to fighting many other creatures, and then ,I'm sorry, but magical macguffin-ness of being around all this power sends you to the realm of the Alicorns? What is that? Is that that one place Twilight went when she became an Alicorn? I suppose but that's the first time I've heard it called that, and Luna and Applebloom have also gone there so just being there doesn't turn you into an Alicorn. Also I know I point this out about every Alicorn, but an Alicorn is not just a Unicorn or Pegasus with the extra bits of the other slapped on, it is all three races slapped together. That is why all Alicorns are taller than other ponies, it's the best way to show their Earth pony traits in them, if your Alicorn is just a Pegasus with a horn then that would make her a Pegicorn or something like that. Not a bad backstory but once Sub-Zero came into the mix I could not stop scratching my head. You didn't even give a reason for why this rift opened.
I'm sorry if I sound harsh but I've been on a "YourOCSucks" marathon and so I can't help but point out problems, and I do consider myself a critic so I'm not saying this to be mean but because I know it could be better. There's no inherent problem with having a cross-over in your back story, but couple that with you becoming an Alicorn and your character's, unique design and you've set yourself up for more critics to come, so if your story is going to be fantastical, especially with an Alicorn OC because those are the hardest to pull off and make sense, this story has to be very good. I just think there should've been a reason for that rift opening up, and with all these villains pouring out of the rift Cadence and Shining aren't like
"Hey you see all those explosions over there? And doesn't the Aurora Borealis look weird? Should we go check what's up?"
That's amazing the backstory was very well done.

This was a good telling of your OC's backstory. And funny how your OC fell in love with a member of Frieza's race, the race known for nearly wiping out the saiyan race.
Also I have a question for you.
I have just recently created 2 videos involving my OC, who is also an alicorn. One is a MLP season 1 wrap-up video (ua-cam.com/video/kH1cINzvmdA/v-deo.html), the other is a dramatic reading of a MLP fan fiction story (ua-cam.com/video/VGT_c0-2oEM/v-deo.html).
I hope to be discovered in the MLP analyst community. With these 2 videos, am I off to a good start?

Yeah I know I'm late, but I feel like I need to say something.
On the concept of realism, for those who complain of her being a Mary-Sue, it's a cartoon about talking ponies with mythical creatures left and right saving the world one step at a time by using friendship. No matter what challenge they face, how evil their enemies are, they win, usually the villain repents(exceptions being Tirek and Chrysalis so far), and they face no consequences for trying to overthrow the princesses, or ruin certain ponies through means of draining power, manipulation, and kidnapping. Yet when Troubleshoes is accidentally causing problems he is held responsible, which isn't fair compared to all the other antagonists.
The continuity of the series is pretty much 'Everything Goes whenever we need it to'. So is her realism that much of a problem? Anything can happen in MLP at this point, so who says their can't be aliens when there are Alternate Dimensions already confirmed? And actually, the fact that Lightning Bliss got married to Sub Zero is very fitting to the actual show, given how becoming friends with everyone is a perfectly plausible solution.
Also, for those of you complain about her saving the world and becoming an Alicorns because of it, that's the same as what Twilight did by becoming a Princess because she rules over friendship and now has to save Equestrian a ton of times because she is the Princess of Friendship and the others can't do much, or fail at it, and that's obviously okay with the writers of the show. So why isn't her OC okay again?
She's awful because I can't see her in the show and I just hate that.
Come on, a rainbow alicorn with rainbow magic and a rainbow theme song and has a rainbow pet and her own magical dimension..? Come on!
