You were not kidding about Eva being potentially too strong. Messed me up on T6, had to extend just a smidge to finish the job. Still, I only had to kill him once more and the job is done. Very appreciated.
Thanks for this strategy, mine didn't go well like yours, but man, it was nerve wracking when I got to the last stage and my party were like "exhausted" (and I was like okay I guess Imma try again), but thanks to your tips I kinda pull through when the opportunity revealed itself. Such as fresh super boss to tackle.
You're so creative!! Using the Sidekicks as the 10th hit via Sidekick Equipment?! So brilliant! Love these videos, thanks so much. Question, what is the consequence if Eva does "too much damage"? I don't understand.
I definitely say using Eva (especially alongside Yakumo) is the more creative approach, by purposely nerfing her damage likely with `weak gear` and maybe even int reduction badges & a power of benefic grasta to extend her lunatic-copy to up-keep consistent 4 hits (or atleast 3 hit pops). Even more that you could have her use Lucent Magi to apply some extra pow/int debuff (if it can stack with Iphi`s Rosa signature skills) or speciically use her Astral signature attacks to avoid buffing Eva`s damage but still get the attack again when above 50% hp value. Hell, since Yakumo only goes nuke mode when Lunatic is turned on, you can use him not activating lunatic at the start to chips between 7~9 break gauge pops with those 2 alone by using Deletion & Astral Signature right at the start of turn 1, which originally i planned my runs around breaking on turn 3 or 4 due to using Yakumo with Cyrus as the flexible zone deployer and more. This strat straight up lets me avoid Yakumo Down-time and avoid needing attribute resistance grasta entirely.. Making use of Eva will definitely be a perfect `trick` to kick Cyrus out of the party, though since we lack grasta for Thunder zone, i could probaly use a Valor chant like Velette or Kamlagne in that case, i might go with Velette since i can take advantage of her various buffs including Critical damage boosting, absurdly high regens (1500 hp and 50 mp regen thats doubled in thunder zone) and like Flammelapis AS she can grant max mp %, up to a whooping +50% which is FANTASTIC for Yakumo in general.
Hey Seven7AE, do you think its possible to replace Eva and Yakumo with Hismena Alter and Minalca???. Both have ATTACK AGAIN. But not as many as Yakumo and Eve, but it should be possible.
I like how only Iphi can reliably actually tank that nasty skill he does right after stopper. AS radias, AS Soira just does not work. Who tf designed this stupid boss. Welp gotta try myunfa out
Dated response i know but just to bring up several potential alternatives when it comes to attack again motions: -Nona Normal Style, Her gimmick signature is an attack that setups up several turns of both Counter AND EoT nukes. Just on that alone you could get a minimum of 2 or as many as 4~5 procs of break gauge hit with the power of Necoco AS. -Tsukiha Stellar Awaken, she hits demon sword state, she proceeds to hit 2 actions per turn, with barely any strings attached. -Felmina ES (for the more expensive tastes), since alot of her `attack again` actions are rather interesting. Normally you would use A.Water stance to keep her divine droplet state up each turn and use her NON-SIGNATURE moves which have the added benefit of immediately using her Signature attack (Lame l`instant` for example) which means she does 2 actions, but she also does a THIRD action or 2nd instant of Lame signature if the enemy is weak to it. This means by using her signature attacks directly, she by default can hit 2 instants of actions against the super boss by hitting weakness via Necoco AS, Added benefit of using Shatterglass to bring out Water zone, immediately during phase 2 or phase 4 and switch over to doing 3 instances per action instead. P.S. Felmina ES also has the extra benefit of being able to play buffer, debuffer, even knockback immunity and type attack booster for the party, so even when you play her NOT as a water unit but as a flexible weakness buster, she still has LOADS of tricks up her sleeve. -Loads of other also exist that can EoT these shenigans, but honestly i still say this super boss in the end was purposely designed to make use of CERIUS STAR AWAKEN, because he straight up can do 2~3 instants of his signature move per use of his SA (with little drawback or setup needs) and up to 5 tops with stellar burst (which outside of AF, serves as a bonus free action so extra cheese with multiple units with star awaken), which honestly is more of a BRAVE system then what the octopath units got in AE to `imitate` thar gimmicks. Never the less, now that i see Eva can be used potentially as a SUPPORT destructor against this crapper and gurantee 1~2 turn breaks, this instantly changes everything since you can skip needing to worry about the super boss`s turn 2 and 3 effects, not rely on Cyrus to `Zone switch` and pocket a Kamlagne or Velette on the bench for thunder zone deployment VC, to just instant break the boss on turn 2 in the 3rd and 4th phase.

Her condition for repeated attacks is target hp above 50% hp, if she does too much, you end up with only 2 hits instead of 4
@@Seven7AE Oh, I see! Yes, of course. I was thinking so hard about the boss' mechanics that I forgot about Eva's own. Thank you once more!

in the fire phase, how did u manage to get korobo to move before the boss? i keep getting wiped before korobo can even get a hit in
Korobo has higher speed than boss here by a little. Can increase korobo speed further by upgrading wavelet shell.
@@Seven7AE oops my wavelet shell was still level 3. thank u!
As of right now, I'm under the impression that not rolling for Yakumo was a severe lapse in judgement.
He is on one of the banners right now
@@Seven7AE I blew all my CS on a different banner like a fool and didn't even get the character I wanted -_-

Will be a big difference, and hismena is only in az which will be hard to even do repeatedly

Welp gotta try myunfa out
With enough debuffing, it's possible to survive that, and maybe Lovely AS guardian also could tank it since it's multiple turns.
I love you! I'm your big fan.
Thanks!
F... i have neither Yakumo nor Eve....

Not enough power of regen... was crap when was out
Super rng with this team and my eva kept dying at last phase
so I switched cyrus for velette and gunce
Defeated it at last in one try. 🙃
