There is another MV with them sitting around a table just singing the song and eating and drinking it’s good!! Also the Bing Crosby song white Christmas tgey do together is amazing to !
I know you love watching the shooting sketches of these type of MVs, there's one on BangtanTV for this MV. Bing Crosby chanel also released a collab with V on White Christmas, it's a new arrangement with Taehyung's voice added to it with Bing's voice extracted from old recordings, I couldn't believe how well their voice complimented each other, the MV also was a tribute for Bing and Yoentan (Tae's beloved pomeranian, you saw his stunt double in Layover, Tae shared the news that he passed away earlier this month)
You need to watch the MV wuth them just singing the song around a table eating and drinking it’s lovely !! And also Bing Crosby and V singing White Christmas it’s beautiful!!😊
Yes, the black jacket Tae is the real one (the one in pain) he created red jacket Tae and the unfinished girl sculpture and all the sculptures, sculpture Tae woke up and thought he was the real one and completed the girl sculpture, and all the other sculptures came to life for the party, that's when it started to feel off with how they point the light at him and doing weird faces, he tried to play along, but the return of the real one blew up his bubble and he realised non of it was real, he wasn't real, just a creation
I think this is somehow tied to layover MVs even though this was shot 10 prior to Layover release. But he was sculpting himself in Rainy Days too, and creating an augmented reality for himself in Slow Dancing
BTS art is always deep. On the face of it, this is the story of Pygmalion and Galatea, but V turns the story on his inner self. Towards self-knowledge and that is loving ourselves. Heaven is actually within us. It's weird, isn't it? It's almost magic what they do to us... People who have never listened to rap - fall in love with Korean rap. People who have never listened to jazz - stand speechless and feel the honey in V's voice flowing through their veins...
You should check out park hyo shin’s music especially, breathe, wild flower and sound of winter. V and park hyo shin are good friends and park hyo shin had problems with his previous label and contract so it’s really wonderful that V has collaborated with him for this song which is going to lead up to Park Hyo Shin’s comeback with a new album.
They were all sculptures, even the V in black, his dark lines running down like blood almost I believe is because the bust of V fell and the face cracked, so I think he too was not real either, it’s like a ghost story and sad and shows loneliness. Beautiful song and video, our Tae’s stories have so many layers and his acting is so good both singers have beautiful voices and I did find Park Hyo Shins very nostalgic also like you mentioned, old soul like V fit perfectly in that age, great review 😊
Your guess in the story are true, he created the sculptures and gave them live including himself but only in his imagination at the end the V faced himself -his thoughts-
Pierre, your observation that the creation came face to face with the creator was spot on. This is in fact very Taehyung. He once explained that V is his persona, created for the stage where he comes to life, but V doesn’t eat. When the performance ends, Kim Taehyung is the one who goes home. He is very clear in his separation of who is who, and I think he gained much of his clarity as a result of the interruption of live audiences during the pandemic. Perhaps this is what he alludes to with the very beautiful empty theater in France, where we hear the hollow echo of his footsteps as he walks them out with his fingers in another setting, demonstrating that V at this point was merely a creation that could disappear at any moment if he chose to let go of him and stop giving him life. Tae mirrors this theme in Rainy Days, as he sculpts his image in multiples and uses a zoetrope to animate himself singing. The clay sculptures become silver as they come to life and reflectively, in Winter Ahead he ends in a field of flowers wearing a silver garment that merges his true self and the super star of the stage. Tae never fails to touch some grass and remain grounded, confident in who he is at his core! The storyline is based on Pygmalion from Greek mythology, which is an interesting fascination Taehyung has that he has mentioned before. Was Zeus that powerful? Was Aphrodite that beautiful? The artistic direction was definitely his vision as we see him directing the way he wants shots to look in the behind the scenes video. The man is a true genius, musically and cinematically as both a director and an actor.

Everything about this is classy, the music, singing acting and MV!
Taehyung é sinônimo de qualidade e arte.
Voz maravilhosa.

V is Taehyung’s creation.

눈과 귀가 동시에 황홀경에 빠집니다. 아름다운 두사람의 화음과 김태형의 멋진 비주얼이 천국을 불러옵니다.^-^

No The black V who is an sculptor of his own destiny is metaphorically presenting his hurt and grieve.
The MV was grabbed in Theatre Montansier in Versalles (France) . Thanks Pierre for your amazing reaction loving Taehyung’s voice. 💜
