Happy is a non skip album. All the 6 tracks are so so good with Jin voices is heavenly! His vocal range is crazy!
Taka just adds that extra oomph that really elevates the song.

Actually, you should have checked Jin only version first before the featured version, you'll realize that Taka added more rock's texture in this song *chefkiss🤌🏻
I can't wait for the live performance!! Imo, this studio version polished Taka's voice into much softer lol. In live setting, Taka's voice would have much more texture, power, and raspiness, than this😍

Hi guys! Jin's Album in my opinion is a NO-SKIP album 💜🫶 I didn't know I love rock genre songs so much hehe. Jin has live performances for each song, & I would love to see you react to them if you decided to react on the full album. His voice is so clear and clean. I'm quite confused whether he is using a head voice or falsetto sometimes since some of the notes on his songs are really high - so I would love to get your professional opinions on that hehe. Thank you! 💜

Yes. This is the Japanese version, which, for me, is the best. Amazing with both their voices together and we know Jin singing in Japanese is the best.

HAPPY is truly amazing. As a Jin fan, I am so happy because I not only love his personality , but his music too! I am almost the same age as him and grew up with pop and pop rock like him. I am a coldplay fan and japanese rock genre fan too. Jin is truly amazing and I relate to him so much! I am thankful for Jin’s artistry

Jin and Taka really complemented each other very well... the original version of the album is in Korean and it's already very good... Taka really spiced up an already very good song very well... and Jin's album is just Chef Kiss… also Jin is a really good partner, when we speak of featuring… you should definitely listen Heart on the window from Jin’s album it’s a featuring with Wendy from Red Velvet( an excellent singer) ❤
Jin's album is showing to everybody that he is a great singer with an excellent musical taste.
When in BTS, he's had more time to sing just in Japanese songs. I don't know why he's the one who had less exposure to his talent.

This song brings out different sides of both artists, which is good news for fans. TAKA was in an idol group, so he can sing pop songs. It's well-known that both of TAKA's parents are singers. TORU was in a dance group called HEADS as a child (as was RYOTA) and has also been an actor in the past. The members of OOR are very talented and interesting.
JIN's Japanese pronunciation is the best among the members 👍 Please also listen to the version where TAKA joins in in Korean.❤

You talk about blending…wait till you hear Heart on the Window with Wendy from Red Velvet. As what you said, Jin also gave way to Wendy and not trying to dominate the song just because it is his song. And his track list shows Heart on the Window with Wendy (not featuring). It means that HotW is also Wendy’s song. So when HotW charted, the credit goes to both of them. Only shows Jin’s selflessness and humility. I do hope that HotW gets nominated in an award show and wins so both of them will get the award. Sorry if I talked a lot about HotW. It is just because this song with both of them is so beautiful. Though Falling is still my fave, all the songs in the Happy album are so good giving different vibes. Jin said in an interview that he listened to thousands of songs in like a day or two. And he really has good taste by choosing the 6 songs in his EP.

"Falling" and "Heart On The Window" are clear winners off this EP. Jin's choice to work with other artists was a great idea for sure. Now I understand why this track sounded "different". There are two versions of this song. Not sure which I like better but I'm leaning on this version. Take care....

Hey I finally figured this out! You didn't have a video to blur so you decided to blur Johnny just to be safe. Great job you guys, always coming up with something new and fun.
This version is in Japanese and the album version is in Korean. First five songs have all a rock element. Another level is just that, another level. The duet with Wendy is great and just like he does with Taka he excels in his part and allows Wendy to shine in hers and together they are wonderful. The last song is very different and dedicated to Army and how he felt when he was in the military so the title is longing. It is as someone said a 6/6 listen. I know you will love and appreciate Jin more. Enjoy.

I'm barely 30 seconds in but just want to say: when you do the full album reaction, please please do it to the live performances!! Even though they're much better these days, the studio production still noticeably flattens out some of the texture and richness of his voice. Like if voices were colours and Jin was blue, the studio production would give you just blue. But the live version would be a whole spectrum of hues, and each hue would have a texture. With BTS and especially Jin, live is always the best experience.
...although I know blocking/copyright strikes are a beast, sad 🥲 anyway back to the video! ps, looking forward to seeing what you guys think of Another Level! But don't want to spoil so I'll zip it here.

re isn’t an issue with audio/video I think I would be disappointed 😂. Love Jin’s songs on this album, and I think that Richard you will love ( I hope) Another Level, as it’s a rock song that you don’t get often… but my favorite is Heart on the Window, I hope you guys check it out the live with Wendy, they did such a great job on it. I love how Jin always blends his voice with others, like you said, he does it in such a way where he never try’s to overpower or always has to be the main focus of the song. He sings to serve the song, not himself.
