I own/operate a large vending operation in Northern California- 600 machines, 25 micromarkets, full office coffee. We use a brand of camera called panoptyc in our MM locations. It’s crazy how accurate and robust the platform is for catching those problem customers. We also allow a certain % of shrink due to mistakes while putting the order together. We put it in our contract that the company will pay for the missing product at cost, over that % so we aren’t out money. Love watching and getting new ideas! 🤙🤙
I also run quite a large scale vending machine business up in Canada Loved this guys cameo, playful & smart - but the real star is Jaime. He’s inspired me to start filming & one day soon, share my own experience! (not on this acc haha) Thank you Jaimie - Truly an inspiration to young entrepreneurs everywhere!

Great video, really enjoyed it. We had those market vending kiosks at my job before we moved to a work from home model. I've spent a lot of money at those type of kiosks because everything looks so appealing.
I literally have the same goal of being able to donate any gently expired snacks to those in need. This man is a role model and has a mission and I am so glad you did this interview. Congrats on keeping one foot on the street and one in the methods of success. good job, Jaime, ps get your girl a jacket too.
You inspired me to start a vending business! I now have 3 machines! I am already starting to feel the pain of managing the keys lol. Thanks for the amazing content as always!
I am about to get machine no. 1 this week and I brought in a glass car jar to hold the keys, because I see that coming down the road... is there a good system for it?
@Lorri Heffner I would honestly do a set of keys for each town and on each of the town's sets, put each location on a keyring, and mark it some way to know what location.
What a great employment environment. In the 90's I consulted with HP & worked from one of their 24/7 Data Centres. We had Drink, Chip, Snack & Ice Cream Vending Machines along with Frozen Meals vending machines. HP were a very generous client & gave all employees a $10.00 - $15.00 daily vending credit. On my last day (New Years Eve), I emptied the machines using all my unused credits. All employees were happy to work here & a few times I was called in early or worked very long hours, but knew I could have a basic meal on site.
Most “expired” snacks aren’t usually unsafe to eat, rather it just tastes “stale”. In that case, a customer probably wouldn’t want to buy it, but it definitely makes sense for people who *need* food.
Thank you for the video and that's really cool that you collab with your friendly competition. I have been watching you videos for a couple years now. 👍🏿😷👍🏻🇨🇦🇵🇭🇺🇲
Just found this channel and this video was so funny. The amount of shade thrown around from start to finish by everyone! And the little skit at the end. Really good content for sure
I was just in Waco too!! The Dr Pepper museum looks interesting. Gotta check it out next time. Congrats on 500K! Just binged watch all your recent uploads. Glad you’re back much love 🫶🏽
Thanks Jamie you inspired me with this vending machine business I have 2 meetings next week with investors that have about 3.5M zar rands to invest with my new vending machine business and I am going to work it with my fiancé like you were doing. Thank you very much for your videos.
Great videos , I like this kind of videos. We also committed to support our local businesses and we are working hard to contribute small business success tips and tricks for every to succeed
Hey Jamie I have two machines and location I have one at a pizza restaurant and one at a barber shop love your videos keep up the good work another banger
Note: Questions at bottom I'm 6 month's in on my start up. I decided to go with a sticker machine and sell trading card's out of them. I make between $40-$60 a month. I decided not to go with food machine's, as it take's a paid license and a "Food Safe" class. I plan on getting my second machine in a month or two. Questions: 1. What is the best way to get into chain's, like Walmart or cinama's? 2. Would it be better to stick with small business for my kind of vending? 3. How much is the average percentage you give to location owner's? (I'm give 25% for my area) 4. Is renting the machine to store a good idea? (Store owner wanted 55% which is why I'm asking. Thinking maybe renting one out to them for a set monthly charge).
Have you checked with your soda pop distributor's and see if they have dock sales, that's where they sale to you but they have a minimum you have to buy at a time like maybe 10 cases might save some money.
I run a cafe that has a market concept. We recently had theft happening and I found out that the cameras in our building don't even face our area. I had to get creative with my proof. The guy was scanning his items and then backing out the sale. I was able to pull up the reports that showed what was zeroed out and the times. My employees told me what he had gotten and around what time. I was able to confirm it with the reports. The issue was brought up w/ my client's HR dept. The next week, I personally witnessed this guy do it three times. I was not allowed to confront him about it. Each time, I pulled up a report and emailed it to HR. He was fired the next day. It's like they said in the video, if someone is stealing a Snickers from the market, what are they stealing from the company? In my case, our account is subsidized. Stealing from us, ultimately meant he was stealing from his employer too.
I have one question for you, my laundromat I go to rose the prices a little bit on the 2 vending machines have you rose your prices on your machines despite inflation?
I started doing this from my mom's house 4 years ago, making $200-400/day, then I started shopping locally and not managing my money correctly, then my profits began declining.
but how do they catch people stealing without anyone watching the cameras? like ok at the end of the month you realize there's shrinkage so what do they do watch a whole month of security footage to try to catch thieves and attempt to identify and report them?
Man I just dont get vending purchases , I have been taking my lunch to work for like 20 years and I never use any part of my paycheck to buy items at the company cafe. It makes me feel like Im paying my employer to eat when at companies like Google and Meta its free. I dont drink Sodas or eat chips and chocolate either . I see all of those bottles and that just plastic going in the landfills
I’m am just wondering. Like I know the people they be take way stuff for free and do not pay for it . I’m just wondering if they take it all the time . The only way . But they can still do it they can play it . Say they got it but they did not
Donating food that is expired is 100% safe for the donator. You can’t be sued for donating “expired” food. As a matter of fact you could get tax write offs.
Turning snacks into stacks 🤑

Yeah there’s so much more you can sell then traditional vending machines but they’re so hard to find

I'm curious how big these companies are that you can have a micro market in it. There must be at least a few hundred people that work there.
LFG!!!! 3 videos in a month new record😂😂
