Guys, guys... Though he´s a fine rock singer, he has a short voice range, and this song is a particularly difficult one, like One Last Breath. That, also considering he might be on tour at the time, and the possibility of his stage sound not being good... I think he is doing a good job. Good band, glad they're back.

Actually it wasn't 'Stapp's fault.' The sound was overall bad. Scott Phillips sped the song up, Mark rode his phase pedal way too much, Scott's vocals were completly dry and louder than normal, and Eric's vocals were up a bit loud as well.

scott stapp voice back then was cool and suited for heavy rock music. now its all dead! the guys except stapp still can play their old songs. but good thing they are back.

@creedvids Well, It's kind of hard to get back into the groove when you've been smoking and drinking heavily for the past 6 or 7 years. It's hard on the throat. Don't get me wrong, no singer can match studio vocals, but Scott wasn't even close at the show. I've seen other live performances and they are a whole lot better. I wouldn't blame it on the sound here because Creed has one heck of a crew. And on top of all that has been said "What If" is a very difficult song to sing.

I love Creed, but seriously there's no denying that Scott Stapp has trashed his voice due to the many years of drug abuse and the such. Just because you're in front of a crowd doesn't mean you won't be able to hit the high notes. With that said, it's nice to seem Scott making a come back, because he really seems like a good guy.

Hey, at least your optimistic, but can you really tell me stapps voice is as good as it was a few years ago.

Seriously, how do you think your voice would feel if you were on tour, and flying back and fourth to record an album. Your more likely to feel sick too from airborne sickness as well.

Tremonti down tunes his guitars to suit Stapp's voice during live performances. It clearly shows that Stapp's voice is not what it used to be. He's not comfortable singing on the D tuning. I know touring and singing live is hectic, but still you can't ignore the fact that Stapp is finding it hard to reach for those high notes. Another thing I dont understand with the new creed is..why have they sped up the tempo of all their songs? The songs are losing their feel.

I just saw creed on Conan ( keep in mind I am huge creed fan) worst performance I have ever seen them do. It was pretty much stapps fault. I feel bad for the guy. his voice was just completely gone. The guy playing rhythm had to do back up for stapp. his voice is getting worse not better. I dont know what the fuck is going on.

man can you all p*ss and moan nonstop. Why don't you all try singing at the top of your lungs every night for five months non stop and see how you feel halfway through. I honestly don't think he sounds that bad. Of course towards the end, they get scratchy and tired...they all do. Stapp ain't Superman for cryin' out loud.
