Oh youre the guy who left detailed best buy review lol. Thats cool, thin and lights arent my thing but im always interested in the all amd machines. If youre looking for another laptop to try out i think the omen 16 with the 6650m would be cool(best buy too) no ones covered it yet, was on sale for 1279 for the longest time, though you could probably just return it if you wanted too.
I've left Best Buy reviews before about laptops I purchased. Ultimate Gohan wasn't specific so I assumed he just saw one of my many reviews. I have not left a review about this laptop on Best Buy and never said I did.
I'm almost convinced, since already awning a Legion 7 from last year but it's too heavy for me now.... But there's something i wanted to ask : does it have two M2 Nvme slots like the Intel version ?? Because on the Lenovo website, this s7i has two option for storage (disk 1 and 2) but the AMD version not!
hey man! great vid. I want to ask if the placement of the trackpad bothers you? I'm trying to pick out a gaming laptop for the first time, and have always used macs for over 10yrs now. This is actually my concern when choosing a laptop, I want it to be centered but I'm kinda interested with getting a Legion coz I heard good things about them my top picks are Asus and Legion. I hope it doesn't get annoying when gaming where you rest your palm and stuff like that.
Hey Eds S. Thank you for your comment. When you get a chance check out my review video for the Lenovo Legion Slim 7. I speak in more detail about the trackpad. At first it was in an unusual position towards the left and I thought it would get in the way of my typing. In practice, even when I did bump it or move over it while typing, it never triggered the cursor. Lenovo implemented good palm rejection so I barely had any issues with it. Transitioning from a Mac will take some time to get accustomed to navigating windows and its shortcuts. Fortunately, it's not a deep learning curve. The Lenovo Legion is a great product line. What are you planning to use the laptop for?
@@BXbomber718 thanks man! I was actually just about to comment on your other video. Lols. I appreciate your honesty on your review I watched the whole 2 vids about this laptop. I was interested with it in the beginning but with your in-depth review I might try to look for something else. I really wanted the G14 for portability esp traveling but the thermal problems are worrying me. I think my choices got narrowed down to Legion 5 Pro or Asus G15. I love the G15 but it’s way expensive than the 5 pro. I’ve seen 5/5i pro starting $1399 but the G15 they’re $1900 on sale and $2k+ reg. Thanks again man! 🥰💕
@@edssszy No problem. I'm here to help. I understand a laptop search can be daunting and overwhelming. The key is to narrow it down to the top 5 must have features you need and find 3 laptops that fit that criteria. Then you narrow things down further by examining the cons of each and look for deal breakers (things you don't like about it that will disrupt your satisfaction of the computer that either annoy you, are pet peeves or that hinder your productivity/gaming efficiency). From there you will deduce it down to a single product that you can purchase with some degree of certainty that will satisfy your use case scenarios.

Also if you're interested I have a Lenovo Legion 5 (Stingray White) for sale for $1200 Shipped. Based on what you're looking for this would fit your needs. It comes with a mouse, headset, true wireless headset, 100W USB Type -C charger, white IdeaPad backpack. I unboxed it on this channel. I have so many other laptops I barely used it so I'm downsizing now. I can confirm based on what you're looking for this will definitely suffice. If you're interested let me know.

This laptop is insanely good. Pricey yes, but nothing performs like this in this form factor. When this thing drops in price I expect it to be high atop all these youtuber's lists.
Also I should say I purchased this a few days ago and am absolutely blown away. Prob the best legion performance to date especially this thin. Worth the full price IMO but an outrageous deal whenever it goes on sale.
