Hello I'm Teresa I'm an alcoholic. I'm listening to this recording this morning I'm sick I need to hear the message. March 1st I will have 26 years no alcohol no methamphetamine what seems to bring so much power is staying in the steps. And then learning to live sober under construction. I'm also aware that I become extremely vulnerable when I'm doing intense step work. Every morning I read step 11 in this chapter. I need this medicine and I participate in it I pray along with it I asked my higher power to give me strength and ability. I also pray for my family. And when I'm on my way to reading this chapter I get on my knees and I asked for the compulsion to drink and to use drugs to be taken ❤ Thank you so much for listening
"My Creator, I am now willing that you should have all of me, good and bad. I pray that you now remove from me every single defect of character which stands in the way of my usefulness to you and my fellows. Grant me strength, as I go out from here, to do your bidding. Amen." BB p. 76

Keep going. It’s definitely worth everything you have done! You will find true happiness and peace. Once and alcoholic always an alcoholic. But it is possible. Praying for your recovery and healing!
I’m struggling getting past 48 hours sober I can take a night off and not sleep well but damn that 2nd night in a row sober is like a fucking brick wall I can’t get through. But I keep the faith
