Here in his hometown, we are all so proud of him. First saw him perform when he was 12 or 13 with Brandi Carlile at her benefit concert at the high school (she lives here, too) singing her song, The Joke. He was also extremely talented at that time. When he was just speaking, he sounded so much like Michael Jackson. His fashion is similar as well, & he's very thin - like Michael was. His singing however is very different, but very good, (although he tends to over embellish on some of his notes. Sometimes less is more.) As far as talent goes, he's there! Why do people want to know about an entertainers private life? If we get to experience the gifts God gives others, why is that not enough? The only fact that we as fans should be focused on is the fact that Benicio is a talented young singer with a captivating voice. We should not be concerned with his gender or anything that has to do with his private life. I hate the fact that the media and many fans are always questioning artist, actors and everyone that has talent and are growing and becoming famous about their gender, look, their sexuality or their private life. They quickly start putting you under a microscope and dissecting people and they need to STOP 🛑. People now have to be labeling themselves so that the world knows who they are. Since when in the 60s, 70s, or 80s did artist and actors have to worry about being called him,he, or she,her or them,they and all that bs. The only fact that we as fans should be focused on is the fact that Benicio is a talented young singer with a captivating voice. We should not be concerned with his gender or anything that has to do with his private life. I hate the fact that the media and many fans are always questioning artist, actors and everyone that has talent and are growing and becoming famous about their gender, look, their sexuality or their private life. They quickly start putting you under a microscope and dissecting people and they need to STOP 🛑. People now have to be labeling themselves so that the world knows who they are. Since when in the 60s, 70s, or 80s did artist and actors have to worry about being called him,he, or she,her or them,they and all that bs. People respected artist and those in the industry with talent and enjoyed their music and voices without worrying about their personal lives. We knew how to respect the fact that they are humans just like you and me. That they have the right to a PRIVATE LIFE!! Now there’s so many labels for individuals that is become a damn confusion and it’s ridiculous. My only concern is to enjoy Benicio’s music and voice, wish him well in his journey, and that many doors of success open up for him so that he may enjoy his musical dream and reach the goals he has set before himself. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The only time I heard him was on America's got talent and I absolutely loved him. Now back then yes I was another fan that thought he was a girl, and now I know he's a boy all I can say talent is talent and what a cutie!!! Now I'm 72 yrs. old, and a big fan of music no matter what year or what kind I just love it and as far as I'm concerned the boy or girl whatever he wants to be he child has talent.... HUGE TALENT. That's his passion, his only just begun and I'm pretty sure he will forever doing what he loves the most is sharing his music to the world. If you notice everything is inverted in the video where he looks like he's playing left handed. So he's not playing left handed, its just the way the video was shot.

I'm so happy to find out Benicio is still making music and singing. He was one of my all time favorites from AGT. When he sang that song The Joke I fell in love with him and his voice. The power and emotions and the notes he hit that seemed to be effortless for him was beautiful. And he's easy on the eyes too. He's of age now, right so I can say that? lol
