How I count frame perfects: • HOW I COUNT FRAME PERF...
Frame perfects (fp) are timings when ONLY ONE frame is available for press/release. All fp are computed EXACTLY FOR 60 FPS! Of course, at higher fps there will be MUCH LESS fp or not at all and most of these timings will become EASIER. Keep it in mind!
Speed portals at 0:17, 0:19, 0:34, 1:09 and 1:10 can slightly shift frames, because of which the number of fp can change slightly.

Remember: Zoink on purpose made these frame perfects not as hard as they could be to make the level still playable on high fps

Kyouki has 22 60 fps frame perfects. For context, Shardscapes is #48 and has 29 fp s. Congregation is 58 and has 23. Mayhem has 44 and is 16 now, more than AoD. Even Hatred by AzuLer has 12 and is 233 on the list

True, but 83 frame perfects means you have to do timings which you can only do in 1/60th of a second, and you have to do it 83 times for 80 seconds, and the gameplay is hard, and the deco actually makes it harder, too.

The fact that Exasperation (the impossible level) has just 1 frame perfect more than Avernus makes me rethink what this community can achieve.

@@coryuan0945 i know, the wave gameplay of solar flare is much easier, as wave frame perfects are the most consistent comapred to something like ship, which is practically impossible.

Hey guys, could you please tell what determines the difficulty of a level? I have always thought that it was the no. of frame perfects in a level but now I am seeing that you guys are saying Acheron is harder than Avernus, though Avernus has 19 more frame perfects than Acheron.
a high amount of frame perfects is indicative of difficulty, but there’s many more factors that determine difficulty. difficult click patterns, choke points, memory, reactive/random gameplay (e.g. limbo’s ending), bad transitions, ship control, length etc. also, a level can have consistently hard gameplay but not a ton of frame perfects. kyouki comes to mind as the obvious example, having a “mere” 22 frame perfects but being much harder than something like SWI which has over 40. this is because nearly every click in kyouki is a 2-3 frame timing, whereas SWI has (slightly) more lenient timings alongside its frame perfects. it’s also worth noting that some frame perfects are harder than others, and high refresh rate frame perfects make incredibly frustrating chokepoints. take, for instance, hard machine, which if I recall only has 12 frame perfects. however, multiple of these are 120 fps frame perfects, and are put in bad transitions making some of the worst chokepoints in any level. even still, hard timings are only small piece of what makes a level difficult.

@@truth8526Easy frame perfects are the one on lower fps, as an example : a 60 fps frame perfect is 2 times easier than a 120fps frame perfect because the more the fps the better reaction time you must have, so 360fps frame perfects are literally 6x harder than 60fps frame perfects due to higher fps refreshrates having more frames to click on.
So the lower the fps frame perfect is, the easier it is, as an example, a 60 fps frame perfect js easier than a 120 fps frame perfect because 60fps has less frames to click on while 120 fps has 2x more frames to click on than 60 fps, basically you can do a 60fps frame perfect in 1/60th of a second and you have to do a 120fps frame perfect in 1/120 of a second because 120 fps has more frames to click on meaning there are more options meaning it’s way harder because of the amount of frames to click on, that’s why 360fps frame perfects are so hard while 60fps frame perfects are easier, tell me if you don’t understand smt.
@@truth8526 so, a frame perfect is a timing where you only have 1 frame of leeway. now, due to the fps bypass, as well as just simply having better monitors, the game can run at different refresh rates, meaning different fps. if you are playing on 60fps, then the tightest possible timing (a frame perfect) is a 1/60 of a second timing. it is not possible to have a timing harder than this on 60fps. however, if you are playing at 360fps, then the smallest possible timing is a 1/360 of a second timing, because each frame lasts much less time. therefore, the 360fps frame perfect is massively harder than the 60fps frame perfect, which is why TTV was placed above VSC but jumps mastery is not even challenge list-worthy. most of these videos count the amount of 60fps frame perfects there are, but since most players play on 360fps, the vast majority of these timings will not be frame perfect for them. in hard machine, for example, the reason why frame perfects are harder there is because some timings in it are frame perfect on 120fps, giving 3 frames of leeway to 360fps players, whereas a 60fps frame perfect will give (on average, not always) 6 frames of leeway.

unpopular opinion: avernus is a good level, the fact that it wasn´t asked for nobody, the difficult it has and other factors make it a bad level
if you haven't already noticed at the ending, there are 2 pillsbury doughboy statues in the level, i find that pretty funny
