with that said, i think we can all agree that what is so terrible is this: one equips a load out for almost instant stagger at close range; one responds by back pedaling to avoid being instantly staggered; one gets annoyed that one doesn't just sit there and become instantly staggered. the solution is: either us players all begin to play in the spirit of fun and fair (where winning becomes a secondary goal) or fromsoft does a complete overhaul of the games mechanics and god damn stupid net code.
@@i_heart_fun I will tell you the advice that a friend who plays invasions since dark souls 1 and today elden ring gave me "don't mind that type of game, it is made to break the player not to win" so if we continue ahead despite everything and At one point we are the ones who win at some point they will disappear, on the other hand until from understands the word "rollbacknetcode" we will have this for a long time. but we will continue giving our best against the META

I developed a good Build that could Counter from a Kite to a Heavyweight Build by winning the Stagger Race as fast as Possible, and ALSO is a Cosplay Build: *The Allmind Mind Omega* -Mind Beta Head -Mind Alpha Core -Melander Arms -Hal 826 Legs -Dual Pulse Missile Launchers (PFAU/66D -Zimmerman on Right back unit -Laser Lance on Left back unit -P06SPD Boosters -P05 FCS -VP-20C Generator -Assault Armor Using the Charged attack of the PFAU/66D to build up the Stagger, a Zimmerman Shot to Completly Stagger the Target, and the Charged Laser Lance attack to Drop the enemy AP as low as Possible.
This is very similar to my main build, but I found using a circulating current generator worked better because of the EN regen while in the air. It makes chasing a little more sustainable, but it looks like my parts are different in other places. Your mileage may vary, but I thought I'd share!
I went with the coral generator and Main Dish core because there's very little downtime between pursuits, it's a great combo. Those generators are good too, just prefer something that isn't punishing when completely draining EN, which is inevitable when hunting kites/rats.
Lamm rats: I got low AP but you can't touch this dsaBOSS: While I'm at it, have you ever considered the large-orb microwave gun? The larger hitbox make them harder to dodge, and with the 20B's large energy well of 3300 you can chase while the guns melt things. Perhaps twin back gatlings can occupy the shoulders? Maybe it would work with Snail core? I'm inspired to try some new things. I might also add that you try the p10 booster for the chase power. Yes, the starter booster. No, I'm not trolling. Also, good work.
Thanks, I did try them on a dedicated pulse build I posted but the SHAO-WEI could be a nice combo. I'll look at P10, NGI is just so good on RJs for general movement. EDIT: Tried your suggestions, felt like I lost a lot of suppressive fire and movement seemed sluggish with P10, it's efficient, but lacks power. The larger hitbox of the pulse guns are nice though.

The problem isn’t missile rats it’s these cheating as* light kite builds with two kinetic rifles with plasma missile and a regular missile. And they run away the whole match while hitting you from a distance while staying out of your lock on range.😡

Kinda have a build ultraheavy tank but bring 1 jammer launcher so at least most of their missile will miss unless they bring earshot/songbirds and manual aim the crap out of my tank
Damn. I quit AC6 pvp a long time ago precisely because of how rock paper scissors it was. Kite rats that chip, tanks that rubber band you into oneshot stagger burst combos, and the worst offenders... BVOs who's entire game plan was building your stagger meter up as quickly as possible then instantly melt your health into nothing unless you were a heavyweight. But seeing this build made me think of how fun it could be to get back into things again. Then again, if kite rats are still a problem, I don't think it's a long shot to assume the PvP is still filled with tryhards that would rather optimize the fun out of the game for their opponent, and that kills my interest all over again. I think the pvp in this game would improve a lot if stagger was removed, or at least, didn't allow people to deal 10x more damage than they would normally... Getting staggered was always the worst part of this game's pvp for me, because it was usually unavoidable thanks to the bad netcode and usually just meant I had to sit and watch while the enemy gets to effortlessly nuke my entire health bar with their pocket earshots or basho blades.
I don't blame you, the meta can be stale. Nothing wrong with taking a break. You can always come back and see for yourself. If it helps, BVO is no longer a prevalent build.
I don't even bother with ranked at this point. I play pvp with a meme build that has a black and blue color scheme with the stun baton and a shield. The AC is called "Stop Resisting"
im glad assault armor use is giving you PTSD. All of the bubble armor users always think they are so secure when they are point blank with me and then I slap them with the AA and you can visually tell in their playstyle that they have accepted defeat. People used to clown on it but idk, these days especially it seems very useful. Terminal armor still the worst by virtue of being the most annoying
I tread carefully now when I see my opponent is staggered. The right build can really punish a player with AA. TA still seems like a wild card in singles.
I tested it out this build & it has a problem with boost efficiency, AB consumption & AB thrust so i improved the core, some weapons & inner parts to do the “missile rat”

yeah, get'em! I have been playing a lot of ranked lately on pc and most of my matches were against kites so seeing you destroy them brings me joy.

Yes and mk1 had no issues either. Hover "wobble" is more useful against evading single fire weapons like LRB, Zimms, etc.

Ah, but Stoats/Ferrets/Minks are used as rat catchers exclusively. Their sole purpose is to hunt down and exterminate rats. Hence, makes more sense.

The enemies (i think Light Calvary and maybe the HC) in AC6 do shoot out flares to miss align your missiles. If they can do it, so should we

It's a scary setup. I'm glad I was running this build at the time or it might've ended differently.
Once, I actually fought a missile biped with a laser lance. Maybe I wasn't the best at that time but I got wrecked.
It's really tough landing the laser lance on missile builds because of their horizontal movement.

I get what you’re going for, but this seems WAY too heavy to chase. I would switch to a 75k midweight
You should see the mk1, way heavier than this and had no problem chasing lighter builds. The extra defense makes a huge difference for trading hits.
That last match was very suspicious, but at least you beat them before they could make your life worse.
