- When we started UA-cam, being able to make videos and introduce Korea to our friends as a job sounded like a dream!
But thanks to all of you here we are, 10 years later. More people all over the world have come to know and love Korean culture than ever before, and we’re so thankful to get to play a very small part in that! Thank you guys so much for all the love and support!!

i’ve been watching this channel for about 6-7 years, when the older clips started to pop up i got a bit emotional. koreanenglishman and jolly are two of my favorite channels because it filled my world with the knowledge of culture. i will forever be grateful for everyone within the channel!

I found your channel in 2018 a few months after I moved to Daegu, Korea. I'm from the US and it was my first time living abroad. I was pretty overwhelmed with culture stock and stress from my new job. Your videos not only were a major stress relief but also got me so excited to go out and try the same things you were making videos about. I ended up living there for four years and watching your videos now makes me feel so nostalgic. Thanks guys and happy 10 year anniversary!

I rarely comment but with this milestone, I felt the need to express how much your channel means to me.
I found your channel because of a longing to reconnect with the Korean cultural experiences of my childhood and the memories I tied to Korean food. Years later, I remain an avid watcher - for the food, of course, but mainly for the beauty of intercultural exchange and the candid human interactions that you capture. The ache to go back to Korea hasn't gone away, nor should it, but my heart is so full.
I shed a few tears during the 10-year montage and behind-the-scenes commentary; it is such a wonderful full-circle moment, both for you as individuals and for the loyal fanbase you have created. I have followed your UA-cam journey long enough to know that it has not always been easy to stick to this world of content creation. As someone just starting out a career in international aid and development, I wholeheartedly recognise the feeling of wanting to have a direct impact and see tangible change in the world around you - often, I feel far removed from the issues that I care so deeply about and wonder if I could be doing more with my passions and skills. Granted, there's no magic formula for calculating meaningful worldly contributions, but I have learnt that an open and empathetic disposition is fundamental to making the world a better place - and that is fully embodied and conveyed in all of your content. Know that you have carved out a unique platform that not only reminds us of our core human values but also highlights, time and time again, that we all have more in common than not.
Josh and Ollie, thank you for what you do! It is so rare to find a space on social media as genuine and well-intentioned as yours, and it is a privilege to be a part of your extended UA-cam family. It's so crazy looking back now at old videos and also seeing how many ppl haven't been introduced or even heard of simple Korean foods!! I would have also assumed many more Brits would have been nowdays. But I can guarantee many more ppl where I live in the sticks of the southern US haven't but that's to be expected! Lol😂 We do FINALLY have our first authentic Korean BBQ restaurant tho!!! So things are changing! Even here...and that's really saying something!❤ Sarange, Josh...and Ollie and the whole crew now!!! Tbh, I haven’t been follow this channel (or JOLLY) as closely as I used to be, but I’m still immensely proud of the fact that I watched your first episode in real time. “10 years can change the landscape,” the Korean proverb goes, but nothing happens automatically either. TMI: I lived in the UK before the 88 olympics, and literally NO ONE knew about Korea then. An old man even asked my father if it used to be a colony of England! XD We may still have a long way to go, but we’ve came as far as well. ^ㅁ^v

10 years ago, I had already been living in Korea for over 2 years already, but I found your channel not too long after you started. It was so nice to find more English speaking content about Korea. Josh also inspired me to continue learning more Korean. It been well over a decade living here for me, but I still continue to learn new things about Korea through your channels. Dang... Has it been 10 years already... I've found you guys when you had 4 or 5 videos. One of my favorite was a day in London, where just some friends enjoying their youth together. Idk, the friendship and the youth was so beautiful that it literally impressed on my brain. It's amazing how you guys grew, and how I also grew as a person. I hope to see y'all for a very long time!

10년이 지났다고 모든 사람이 반드시 한국을 아는 것은 아니죠. 아무리 영국을 잘 안다는 우리야말로 영국에 대해 완전히 다 아는 게 아닌 것처럼요. 이 영상은 그런 의미에서 정말 많은 교훈과 의미가 담겼습니다. 영국남자가 이번 영상을 토대로 다시 초심을 찾아 더욱 알차고 질 높은 한국과 영국 문화 교류 영상을 만들어주셨으면 좋겠습니다.
Not every British people know about Korea even it's been a decade. Like we Korean do not know everything about Britain even we know your country over decades. So this video is having so much meaningful and also educational moments. I hope Korean Englishman will have more ambition by taking this remake episode so make more great videos about cultural exchange between Britain and Korea.
글쎄요.. 제가 유럽에서도 거주했었고 중동, 아시아, 북미 등 출장을 많이 다녀서 그런진 모르겠지만 올림픽, 월드겁까지 치르고 삼성, 현대가 있는 세계 경제 10위 언저리에 위치한 한국 혹은 한국의 대표적인 음식을 모른다는건 그냥 무식하다라는 생각밖엔 안드는데요ㅎ 아님 문화 사대주의인가ㅎ

It just makes me so happy when people are willing to try something and then they absolutely love it. My Japanese mother always said to try everything because the worst thing that could happen is you don’t like it. And you can’t say you don’t like something without giving it a try.
