It really confuses me why the G80 Magma Special will only be sold exclusively in the Middle East especially since it would make the G80 more desirable globally. Not to mention, I've heard rumors that the G80 Magma Special will supposedly have at least 600 horsepower with that V6 under the hood. That would be really competitive with the likes of the E63, RS6/RS7, and M5 and they're pretty popular here to boot. Why show it off at the NY Auto Show if it won't be sold in the US? xD
I love the products that Kia/Hyundai/Genesis is producing or planning, but Genesis has a major problem: distribution. The long awaited dedicated Genesis dealerships with Lexus - like buying and service experience never came to fruition, and it is hard to find a Genesis in stock, much less order one how you want it. I was interested in a G70 a couple years ago, but gave up on Genesis because the only one in my area was at a Hyundai dealership and it had the I4 engine. The salesman said they had to take the cars the factory produced, and I could not order one. I already owned a Sonata, and loved it; if Genesis had been able to sell me what I wanted they would have won a loyal repeat customer. Flash forward to this morning, and it appears that there is a Genesis dealer near me that has 3.3 G70s, but the opportunity is past. I hope that Genesis gets its act together before my wife is ready for her next vehicle.
Yes, coupe suv, an oxymoron needs to end. Do people really think: Lets buy an suv for all the extra space and then delete that extra space so it looks "cool"....

@@Twenty1world Despite the fact you still see new ones all the time.

I was picturing Dr. Evil from Austin Powers saying..."liquid hot magma"
Most definitely! If I were to get one, I'd get a plate that had MAG MA on it.
