British driver with skill issues? +20 seconds for Nando.
Nope
@@marfrandema1884 FIA: *Yes*
Alonso is a legend!
Is the less winning legend
@@ste9856 la F1 es una mafia dirigida por ingleses.
This is Bellshill... alinso shouldn't be given a penalty. He didn't break check him... watch it back there was soon much space...
Good tactics
Was fun discussing some hot takes. Thanks for having me on!
Exciting driver.
I think Alonso said on radio had an issue at the car after the turn
He said the the throttle was stiff
So I guess he try to throttle but stuck at a few seconds??
That doesn't explain why he gave the brake a stab in the acceleration zone. He knew what he was doing, he's very good at the dark arts and I respect him for it but this time he caused an accident so he had to pay the price.
@@DjDolHaus86 At least Fernando still respect that. If he got DSQ that will be another story
there is an objective method to determine who are dirty or dangerous drivers...penalty points.
I assume this wasn't raised during the discussion as Alonso has less points than Hamilton and Russell which wouldn't match the narrative.
Anolso did NOTHING wrong!!
You better stay away from race tracks if you don’t understand how dangerous and dirty it was
@@ste9856so drivers can’t make mistakes on track, Russell was no where near hitting Alonso and forgot what dirty air is
Who's Anolso?
@@ste9856 crymilton VS Max at silverstone 2021 was cleaner?
Hot take: Alonso would win against Max if they were teammates driving a non-RB car.
It doesn't matter which manufacturer car they're in, teams design the package to suit the number one driver so whoever that is has the advantage. I think if they were on the same team and had a car that suited them both you'd end up in a Hamilton/Rosberg situation where they'd trade wins and occasionally take chunks out of each other. Over the course of a full season my money would be on Verstappen based purely on the fact that Alonso isn't as young as he was and your ability to recover and withstand strain gets worse as you age.
You didnt get my point, when I say 'a non-RB' car, Im talking about a car who needs to fight against another 7/8 cars to make a podium.
I have no doubt Max is faster than Alonso on a 1v1 pure pace race like it would be on a car like the RB or the ROS-HAM Mercedes, but when it comes to a proper race against not only your teammate but half the grid, when every bit of your racecraft matters.. thats when a master like old man Alonso fluorishes.
I have a feeling that iwasa will take daniels seat
I wouldn't say it was black or white. When driving defensively, yet cleanly, like Senna did at Monaco 1992, Alonso in Imola 2005 and Interlagos 2023, sometimes it can be infuriating for the driver who is theoretically faster, but the Stewards won't bat an eyelid. However on the occasion of the weekend just gone, because of Russell crashing and ending up on his side in the middle of the track, the Stewards took action.
It's a catch 22 for the Governing Body, they were criticised for giving lenient penalties, now they give a penalty that people deem to be too harsh
Hot take: Piastri is slightly better than Norris. He has not been in f1 for a long time but he was impressive last year(despite not scoring as many points as Norris)and had a great start this year. Only time will tell who is better between the two drivers but for now Piastri is a bit more impressive.
ohhh spicy take 🔥
russell has to overdrive because he don't have a great car, but like lot of drivers of the grid, he would vanish in front with a dominant car.
See how well he did when he replaced Lewis for that race a few years ago. Blitzed Valtteri and should have won if Merc hadn't screwed up.
even in 2024, he seems more competitive than lewis@@Samael78 he's just a bit crazy during last lap 🤪 the opposite of grosjean
Alonso has some questionable tactics, doing unpredictable things isn't what you should be doing at those speeds.
