Humble yet artistically ambitious, John Smith is a guitar genius and a great songwriter. I saw him live last Decembre in Basel, Switzerland. My friend Jacques who is himself a great folk guitarist kept saying on the home : I haven't had a night like this since the 70s. Many thanks to you John - hoping to come to read these comments sometimes.

Extraordinary! Just heard this in the radio and thought it was John Martyn though it sounded like too recent a production. Not come across this guy before. Listened to more of his stuff on YT and will definitely be getting an album. Great stuff. And apparently he's from Devon too. Just hoping he plays locally sometime.
