- Interview given by Lisa Kelly for PBS Detroit during their Songs From the Heart special on December 1. A few things:
- There's no way I can get rid of the pledge stuff, it was recorded like this. Besides, you should help public TV =)
- There was more of this interview, but the presidential speech that happened that day delayed the program and because of that my PC failed to record it when the show ran long.
Lisa is such a sweetie pie! She's my absoulete favorite! She stuck with Celtic Woman and she loves seeing the audience's reactions. She has such a cute smile and laugh and it was so thoughtful of her to give each celtic woman girl their own special compliment that was creative and sweet at the same time! She's amazing!
All the members have always been so sweet and modest and they are so humbled to be able to be in the group.
Awww I love her!! I hope I can meet her and the rest of the Celtic Woman group one day! Celtic Woman is a beautiful and very talented group!
Lisa Kelly is a very wonderful person. She is an amazing singer and has a really great personality. It is so nice seeing her and hearing her talk in this interview video of her. She is really awesome. I love Lisa a whole lot!!!
I went to that concert when it came to my state. IT WAS FANTASTIC. But I miss those five. I don't enjoy the show as much as I used to. I don't watch it as much either. It's not as elegant as it was, too much stuff. One neat thing. I have a son that lives about 15 minutes from Peachtree City where Lisa has her Academy of singing and dance. Went to visit him 2 years ago and just missed meeting her by a day. She had been out of town and didn't get back until the day after I left to come home. But she did sign a CD for me. My son did meet her though. Said she was super nice. She was always my favorite. Was going to visit again this last summer but with the Covid 19???. Will try again this
summer if possible.
What a charming young lady! Now I must confess, I am a "Lisaholic" LOL
That being said, Lisa Kelly is a truly wonderful lady. She and the other ladies of Celtic Woman are amazingly talented and really love their fans.

I love it at 0:49 when she tilted her head to the side. It might seem strange but if I were to talk to her face to face and she did that gesture, that simple gesture would just warm me all over and make me feel as if I'm special to her : ) Lisa is truly my favorite Celtic Woman.

I fell in love the first time I heard her sing which happened to be the year Celtic Woman began. It really irritates me to no end that this interviewer keeps referring to Celtic Woman as "you guys". Sorry Lisa, PBS is not known for their interviewers.

You hit the nail right on the head, my friend. She is one of the most beautiful and angelic women I have ever seen. I absolutely love her voice. My favorite song from her, and my #1 favorite song, is "The Voice", but I love every song I've heard from her. I pray I can meet her in person one day. That would be one of the best days of my life.

I've heard 'Caledonia' many times. It is an amazing song. As I said, I love every song I've heard from Lisa. I didn't say that 'The Voice' was her best song. I just said it's both my favorite song from her and my #1 favorite song. If it wasn't for 'The Voice', which ironically enough I first heard sung by Alex in 2008, I probably wouldn't be a Celtic Woman fantatic today. Let's pray you and I actually get to meet Lisa one day. She's phenomenal and has a heart of gold.
I like her smile and what she said about Chloe being the baby of the group and her being the mommy. Scott you better hold on to her dude.

I hope you know she's married and has three kids. She's married to Scott Kelly. He's the CEO/Producer of Celtic Woman. As far as I know, they're very happily married. Sorry if this is bad news for you, but you wouldn't be the only guy to be disappointed about that. Believe me.
@razgrizaceblaze259 I hope you know Lisa's husband's name is Scott PORTER not Scott Kelly. Kelly is Lisa's father's surname, which is her maiden name.
this is a little late but still. Officially she's Lisa Porter her husband is Scott Porter she performs under her maiden name Lisa Kelly,. It's easier for her fans
she especially raves about Chloe; I counted 25 sec, spent 20 about Alex, between 15 and 10 a piece about Lynn and Mairead. I can't believe I did that. lol..

I know that. I guess I just had a slip of the tongue. Still, Scott Porter is one DAMN lucky man. He is married to an angel, and I envy him so badly. I hope I'm just fortunate enough to meet Lisa, in person, one day.
