I think the camera angles and the feeling of speed on the first game was the best. They need to bring that back. The weird lack of momentum feeing in supercross 3 and 4 when you land is disappointing

SX1 looks the best. The lighting is just perfect. When you race outside at night you get a glare off your bike. Haven't played SX4 yet. Looks like it plays the best. They should combine the lighting of SX1 in SX4 and I think it'd be straight 🔥🔥
Completely agree supercross 3 was the best imo, I loved how u could scrub the jumps and be faster by using the sticks and being on the back of the bike

I just bought 1 and I don’t have any of the others but I’ve been playing mxgp 2 for a while and the only thing I didn’t like about it was it felt so slow. But wow I really love monster energy 1 so far

Hey man, the only game I own is #1. I think I want to buy another, which one should I get? I’m kinda thinking #3. Any suggestions? I just want some new content from 1. Technically speaking, the tracks and riders are out dating in every game so that isn’t an issue for me

I only have 1 and 4, but I think the first is way better. The only thing I like in 4 is the use of the Dualsense on PS5. 4 seems stiff and has a major learning curve imo. I also prefer the look in SC1. It has a grimy, dirty look and feel. SC4 is too clean and bright.
I’m playing Supercross 3 for the first time in a while and i forgot how much fun it is compared to Supercross 4. My favorites in order are Supercross 3, Supercross 4, Supercross 1, and then in last place Supercross 2.
I own the first game, but that has horrible framerates on ps4. Are there any other speedcross games that run on a stable 30 or 60fps on console? And one that has better physics than the first one?
I have played 2 3 and 4 loved them all. To rate would be kinda hard. I wanna play 1 to warm up for 5. Even though the physics will probably be way different.
So now that 5 is out where does it fit on this list?
just got 4 and then bought 1 after and so far it seems better. I have never played any of these games till recently and 1 looks better to me movements and whips
In my opinion the two first supercross games were the best. In one I enjoyed most the first person camera angle and in supercross 2 the gameplay was great and made for everyone, even for casual as hardcore gamers. The physics in supercross 4 are an disaster and a difference between the AI on very easy and realistic are hardly to find. Supercross 3 is reasonable but not really top!!

I feel like 4 has the most potential for longevity for me; it took the longest to get the hang of, and I'm still enjoying the standard tracks. I also can really feel the difference between regular laps and when I try to lay down a heater. I still really enjoy 3, too, but I feel like you can pin it a little too much for my liking. 2 was clunky and got boring really quickly. I did enjoy 1, and I think the novelty of it being the first official Supercross game in nearly 20 years really helped it. However, a lot of the rhythm sections lacked options, and the whoops might as well have just been a straightaway. Love them all, but I've felt improvements in the gameplay (at least for me) with each release. I usually don't play online for ages, but the career bug kinda forced me to. It's all resolved now, and I'm enjoying doing 20-minute mains.
I like 3 cause the rhythms are the most accurate to real life and it was fun to find fast lines
I can say one is my favorite because I played it the most
But I think three is probably my second favorite because it's the one probably the most comfortable with and one through three I like all the tracks on them even if one had two tracks that I was terrible at and had to actually create setups in

Before just it feels miserable I don't think you're supposed to supposed to hate tracks when you're playing a game and I can tell you Tampa is literally at the top of the list followed by Oakland followed by Phoenix followed by San Diego now because I am completely irritated with
And it's the first game that I don't actively play the career mode
But yes since to the track editor has went downhill there's no doubt about that
And honestly in my personal opinion before has took a step backwards in the part that in my opinion is important which is the writers the ground physics the bikes on the ground and fine for some people but I enjoyed super Cross three I was fast on it
I can have anywhere from a 9 win season two of five win season I've never had less than a 5 win season on supercross 3 actually that's true in 250s I've had less but that's because I wasn't good at the 250s on that game
The one thing supercross 4 has done right as they has has improved the 250s and gave us more teams for multiplayer as far as I'm concerned to choose from
But you could just grind in the game and and get that so
I'm still on play supercross 4
Mainly because of all the new numbers and I don't I don't know
For some people it's never going to be perfect but I was comfortable with supercross 3
But in supercross 4 it's just I cannot figure out how to make the front the front stick and rotate the way I want it to
It's just my biggest problem is in the game is I feel like the tracks that come with the game are built poorly and that bothers me
And the compound I kind of wish there was more variety there I love the little track in the tunnel I don't want that to change but the rest of the compound I feel like could have been used better and I love the motocross track
I kind of wish you could run the compound in reverse so the tracks will be more fun I just I wish milestone would clean
Also I do have a problem with some things I feel like tough placement is been a problem
But what do I know I don't design games I'm just a racer but I haven't made a mod at different game but I haven't made a mod though so have some idea
My personal list is 3,4,1,2. 3 had the best gameplay but the absolute worse career mode. 2 was the one I had the least amount of fun playing. 1 has a special place in my heart as it’s the one that got me into milestone games.
this might be weird but can you please do a tutorial on how to download reflex gear and bike skins bc i cant find a tutorial that works bc they are old

Everyone has 2 last but it’s by far the best to me. I’m talking about the graphics and gameplay. I thought it would be higher.
A summary:
Supercross 2 is realistic.
Supercross 1 was solid all around.
Supercross 3 is a fast paced experience.
Supercross 4 is fast paced with a bad editor and revamped career.
Only played 3/4, I don’t like how light the bike feels in 3 compared to 4. Seems more skatey, where on 4 it feels like the bike sticks better. Also somehow the scaling feels better overall on 4 than most of 3.
Which one has the best rider customization? Sx2 only $1 on my steam, is it good customization wise?
They are all pretty similar. Obviously different gear from different years, but still very similar. Supercross 2 has good customization.
I got 3 based on ur reviews. I was going to get 1 until I saw this. I’m coming from mxgp3, so it was a HUGE learning curve. But once u give it a few hours, hitting a rhythm section correctly gives quite the dopamine rush.
I can see myself enjoying this game if I keep a REALLY open mind to it and give the physics a chance. But god why didn’t they just take the physics they ALREADY HAD with MXGP and run it.
It definitely feels different. I wish I knew you were coming from MXGP 3. Supercross 1 was the game right after MXGP 3, so it looked good and played similar to MXGP 3. I still stand by my rank for Supercross 3, but had I known, I might have suggested Supercross 1 to you.
My favorite part about SX1 compared to the others is that the AI would actually get consistent finishes and give you a championship fight. In the newer games you'll see Tomac Webb and Roczen getting P20 every other week

how bad is supercross 4's training section?? i have 7 stars left to get on the whipping and scrubbing section and for the life of me cannot get it

I gave up on that after the 15th try I was like I just gave the middle finger I was like I'm done with you
The biggest my biggest problem is I can't get enough pop to do the scrubs
But there's an easy fix turn of Scrubs in the whips
But personally I would rather turn that into like endurance training or loop speed I think that would be a much better fit for the game

They made the training challenges so awkward to do, especially on some of those tiny little tracks in the compound.
I was thinking of getting another Supercross tbh, cuz I have the first one only.
I just got number 3 since it was on sale on the playstation store, a much more difficult game and takes a lot of getting used to, especially the cornering. I feel like it could be really fun though once I get the hang of it

i think supercross 2 is the most competitive for multiplayer but lacking in every other aspect compared to the other games
First one I played was 1 and just now started playing it and still am playing it, currently playing career and I’m having too much fun with the game. I wanted to skip to 4 but idk just by gameplay lol I really don’t like it, might finish 1 and hop on 2, supercross 2 by gameplay looks really good then hop on 3 then 4 haha

Supercross 1 was a great game. For me, Supercross 3 was really great too. Pretty different from the first one tho.

The need to give us more options when it comes to gear and customization. The selection has been getting worse with each game. And they need to have an option to customize the gear and bikes, even when you are riding for a factory team, real riders don’t wear the same gear setup every race, why should we? The career needs to be a little deeper too but Everything else I love about the game
I wish milestones would listen to their fans and put what the fans want not changing everything every year cause that just either goes good or looks completely bad

I hated 2 based on my experience with it. I got the game played it a bit and eventually got to a certain point where no matter what I couldn't finish the race, if I got first it would still make me repeat the race, must have gotten a lemon copy and even after some bug updates it still did the same thing
Supercross circuit 1999 ❤️
In 2 the bike felt really heavy but in 3 the bike didn't have as much weghit so it was easy to corner in 3 in 1 the scrubs and whips were my favorite part and the track editor but the only good the about 4 was the graphics the gear with the teams were looking good especially the redbull ktm with cooper webb monster energy kawsaki with eli tomac and honda crf 450 with ken roczen.
i really like how 4 went with the career and to me it’s the best thing about the game (plus the 2strokes) but the amount of cut content breaks it for me. i understand covid could have played a factor in it but they could have used the assets from 3. my list would be 3,1,4,2 but if 4 just had more content like 3 it would be too top of the list
Good ranking. The biggest problem I have with the newer games is that the track editor keeps getting worse.

i bought sx4 and played for 30 minutes. refunded. bought sx3 for that money and played for 30 minutes. refunded. bought sx1 and played for 30 minutes. refunded. and then lastly i bought sx2 and played for 30 minutes and guess what... i refunded. as someone who plays alot of mxbikes i cannot find enjoyment in these arcade mx games no matter how hard i try
When you think about it, longevity is what they don't want you to have. It's a tactic to keep more people buying each year's game.
True. Very true. But having a bad track editor with no opinions isnt a great look either. If they upset enough people, theyll just stop buying the games altogether.
@@windham151 yes indeed. I kind of feel like they will eventually start making dlc's for the track editor and charge like 10 bucks like they do for other content. Alot of these game developers know how to get a little bit more out of things that people like. Or maybe they will see how unhappy people are with it and make the next one better, I have seen a few little things here and there they worked on due to enough complaints. Either way I just love mx games so I'm glad we have been getting a ton of them.
And when I say I love mx games, I mean I still like to throw mx2002 featuring Ricky Carmichael into the ps2 every now and then lol.

i havent played number 1 or 2 so i cant speak on them but as far as 3 and 4 go I think the content in 3 blows 4 out of the water but the physics in 4 are more realistic and you actually have to have flow to win a race

supercross 4 the rider was so stiff!! i just feel like these games are cash grabs at this point. 1 and 2 were great, mxgp 3 was awesome… things just started going backwards after that…
Yeah supercross 1 is the best for whips and scrubs and bike stability. But the newer games have more realistic features like ruts and square edge

Why do these games look like you have a parachute on when you're in the air?
I would just rank them on release, 1,2,3,4
4 is just really bad. It looks fake, and it feels super weird. 3 is really good looking but its still weird with how the rider is. 2 is great because of al the career options, like you could do a media thing and all what we had never seen before. 1 is my favourite because i enjoyed it the most. It had fun tracks, the bike didn’t feel weird and it felt fast.
supercross 2 ai was super easy on realistic but it was still fun

Ethan Whisman racing in 4 is hard because it doesn't matter what difficulty you're on it's gonna be hard, 3 was actually perfect in my opinion because your leading and wreck you have to fight your way back and it ain't easy

I know on my Xbox One I get torpedo by Vince freeze almost every race especially when I have to come through the pack
My biggest problem is the way they build tracks I mean milestone hasn't learned how the community actually builds tracks it's like they never look I mean if they actually looked at how we build tracks they might actually learn something like
Because I can point at the full race tracks I hate the most and I'm I add more on to it it feels like everyday

3's physics were ok but the career sucked. Every time you completed a season all your gear and bike upgrades were removed and had to be reapplied. Also had to complete the pointless "bootcamp" race before each season. Liked the first 2 games but 3 kinda killed the franchise for me.
