Milestone is basically a scam company at this point. They are going to farm purchases from the common moto guy that knows nothing about video games and how horribly this franchise has progressed showing no care for what the community wants. If this game drops before the end of the supercross season, it will be a miracle. If it drops after, who tf wants to play an sx game in mx season.
I hope they do because it’s really the only SX game that’s dated, besides mxbikes. There is literally so much SX4,5 & 6 COULD have done but aside from adding an inside berm on a few turns-all 3 games are identical
What they could do (they won't) is release the 1 track a week like you talked about- but in the meantime have the full 2024 motocross season tracks in the base game- that way you wouldn't be buying an "empty" game. You'd have the outdoor nationals to play while getting drip fed the SX series- essentially the whole SMX series. That would really stretch the games life cycle out- they could release it initially with all the riders from this year and update them as well as details come out for teams. Really all they'd be doing is updating bike graphics, skins, numbers & text. If Milestone did this, it would restore their status as the GOAT MX/SX game developer.
You will have the whole 2024 season already on the game. The 2025 season as the season goes, they will add like mx vs atv (is my opinion, not a sure thing)

I think what they’ll (hopefully) do is maybe put the 2024 SX season tracks on it, but the problem with doing a current season on SX is that the tracks change every year compared to most MX tracks which stay the same year to year so you can use the base track and update after each race. They might have to take an MX vs ATV approach and wait 5 rounds then release the game, then each week you get an update. If they want the game to be realistic they’re gonna need to go that route
I am excited, but really bummed they didn’t do the full SMX series. The only way this flies for me is doing the 2024 season, and then a 2025 weekly update. Quietly hoping for an MX and SMX dlc

However, I'm very excited for the new Supercross game and it sounds like Windham is too. & That's fine you can dislike it all you want. Supercross 5-6 isn't GREAT! But, I've enjoyed those games just as much as 1-4 despite 3 or 4 was it? Having all the Salt Lake rounds. As a fan of MXGP and Supercross I'm very excited for a couple new games to come out.
So If they have it as a live service every week they release new track for the weekend! Say release on Friday! But they add the practice version to the compound every Monday. Just a thought. They have been blown out by Mx vs Atv as far as support. Fingers crossed
I actually enjoyed the SX due to the rut system, you could make passes and still use inside ruts and what not. They definitely did better than milestone ever could. If THQ Nordic could get the rights, and they made a pure SMX game with career focused on that, I would honestly buy it
The physics from supercross 2 was the best out of all the games alot of people didn't know how to use the right stick and it made the biggest difference in the game .Hitting up on the right joy stick out of conners for wide open throttle was great and if you where really good you could use the right stick to drit and help turn with your back tire .Supercross 5 & 6 was the wrost games to date they where just plan and boring .they could give dlc sticker packs for bikes old school tracks and old school bikes and old school gear for track pass and dlcs
I just want to see a full comprehensive moto game. Should start your career on a super mini at one of the big amateur nationals, your position in that event determines what teams will be interested in signing you, and it will determine whether you have to run a season of futures, or if you are good enough to go straight to the big show. We need a game with both series, Supercross and Motorcross, we need bike physics that don’t feel stiff and predetermined. We need more customization. Jerseys, Helmets, Fonts, etc.

In their MotoGP game they have the current season. It usually comes out a few months after the start of the season and there are updates along the way. Hope they do a good job. The last game was pretty bad Mxgp21 was pretty good I thought and still play it.

In general, there are about 6 months between the release of the first teaser trailer and the game's launch, so I assume we will have it between the end of March and the first half of April. That said, it's incredible how Milestone, about 6 months before the release, has already released a trailer, while KT Racing, just 1-2 months before the release of MXGP24, hasn't shown anything of the game yet. All I need to know is 1 thing - are the physics like MX vs ATV or are they like SX 4/5/6? I’m one of the few that actually enjoy the SX games but I very much dislike MX vs ATV Legends.

I am pumped about milestone bringing back supercross gaming with MESX 2025. I think they had too much on their plate throwing out mxgp and mesx every year. I cant stand the mx vs atv physics, sorry haters but milestone physics are better than RS.

try MotoGP 24, that game to me is a benchmark for licensed motorsport games.
They didn’t. It’s the same game as 6 with new add ons and gear.
At least they only have the supercross + gp game now instead of juggling SX, GP, and MotoGP
