Hardy, fast-growing plants like Java Fern, Anubias, and Hornwort are excellent choices. They provide shelter and improve water quality, creating a healthier and more natural habitat for your goldfish.
Hardy, robust plants like Anubias, Java Fern, and Hornwort are ideal because they can withstand goldfish activity while contributing to a healthier tank environment.
These are sort of good choices, but I would add a disclaimer that all can be easily damaged, no matter what. Especially like the Java fern and Java moss. They’re quite brittle and delicate. They’re certainly not immune to being ripped up or tasted by goldfish. 😆 And with the variety of plants you named here, you probably could’ve just named every plant species. Lol. Because truthfully, it’s an experiment every time. And none are going to be completely immune to nibbling or potential damaging. Especially depending on the fishes’ sizes. Smaller fish or babies could likely work better with more variety of plants than bigger fish. Long story short, if you have goldfish that are koi-sized or living in a pond… aquarium plants may not last long. Lol. Outdoor bulbs, lilies or lotuses may be best. Water lettuce, stuff like that. Just don’t let it get out into the world…
I request to everyone pkease don't suggest or put plastic plants, they are sharp and can potentially harm any fish...and that's why they can't be even a hiding spot...

You forgot Water Spinach,Lotuses & Lilies,specially the Amazonian Lilies😂 Which Goldfish can destroy such a huge Lily!
