interesting detail, in the past movies while the DeLorean does sort of rip or punch a hole through time when reaching 88, it was a little smoother in the previous two movies, but age from being buried for 70 years has taken a toll on the machine, you can tell it's struggling a little more to breach the time barrier. even the flux capacitor is sparking now within it's chamber.
It's not just the age. Doc essential had to recreate modern curcuit boards with 50s electronics why most of the electrical components are absurdly large so Do had to literally strap a cola box on the hood to mount all of those electronics. They call it the Flux Box Imagine hooking up a 90s cpu to your desktop
@@andredizon5805 True, But that's Mainly for the Time Circuits which set and record the Destinations while the Flux Capacitor does the work in creating a breach through time. Though I will agree that while the replacement 1950's components to repair the time circuits are sufficient, they are not ideal, especially exposed outside of the Vehicle as it probably mildly interferes with the flux dispersal as stated by Doc about why he chose the deloean, because of it's stainless steel construction.

The train looks similar to the Polar Express.
The train whistle is used in the Polar Express, and the Flux capacitor appeared as an Easter egg
