Your video from start to finish as well as the wonderful mellow background music was absolutely lovely. You made it feel like we were in Baguio and felt the magical place that it is. I have never been there but my wife, who is also from Cebu, was some years back and told me how special it was even then. The house nestled in the landscape at 13:30 stole my heart. We are a Christian family and the Bible promises us an eternity in a heavenly paradise restored from the condition it is in now. But I can only imagine Baguio comes as close to any place else on earth to being like heaven someday. Thank you for taking us on that wonderful trip to that magical mountain town.
Hi Roanjean, I loved your video on your solo birthday trip to Baguio. I will also be going solo to Baguio this first week of November to have some rest and relaxation for myself. Thank you.
We also just got back from Baguio, and as always, it was a great trip, even if it was short. The magic of Baguio! A little late, but happy birthday! Looking forward to more of your vlogs. Subscribing! ❤️

The good thing about Baguio is places are not that far from each other and the air is not so polluted that you can just walk. Enjoyed this video. Walang mga eme eme. lol. Solo trips FTW, especially if you're already familiar with a place. You'll only have to look after yourself and not be concerned if your companions are okay with your decisions. Won't recommend, though, if it's your first time going somewhere.
Yes, I agree! It's an advantage I have lived there previously so I know how to go around and when/where to avoid long taxi queues (which is a bane of my existence lol). And yes, solo trips are quite liberating. Thanks for watching! :)
Hi, thank you for the nice vid. May i know what tour that you went on for the Mt. Ulap day hike? I'm also planning a solo trip to Baguio for my birthday trip early 2025.
suuuper loved your vlog. not the typical vlog that i was expecting - made me want to watch till the end 🥹 i've been curious, what were the logistics that were put into your hike to Mt. Ulap and at Yellow Trail? been wanting to have more nature into my trips. TYIA!
hi! for yellow trail, i just walked going there. my hotel was on south drive so it's near cjh. if you're staying farther, you can take a taxi or jeep. taxi is easier but if you're feeling adventurous, puj terminal is at igorot park. they are jeeps going to loakan. you can ask the barkers for jeeps going to or passing by john hay. you can also tell the driver you're alighting at john hay but usually they'd ask if may bababa dun (most of the time meron) pag malapit na ang jeep sa cjh. yellow trail and all other trails in camp john hay are free. for mt. ulap, i joined a day tour with mt. pulag freesia tours on fb (facebook.com/profile.php?id=100077095266435). they're legit and reliable; been booking tours with them for ulap and pulag. thanks for watching and happy trip! :)
Nice solo trip. I was also hooked on the NFlix Tour de France documentary. I bicycle for a hobby so I can relate to the pain Ang anguish of some climbers.
Beautiful video. I also love Baguio. When I was young, I wanted to live there. I love the greenery, the cold weather, great layout of the city with its wooden American-style houses , and I like the hardworking and serious nature of the Igorots. Its a nice place to live I thought to myself back rhen. Now, it still is beautiful but, in my opinion, it is extremely overpopulated which has caused several problems one of which is the bad traffic situation. I hope the local government would put a cap on further construction of homes and condos in the city. This is the only way to discourage migration. Baguio City was designed by the renowned American architect Daniel Burnham and it was designed to be a beautiful little city in the mountains. If maintained well, this city can rival even the more popular cities abroad.
Love your silent vlog, soothing to the soul, you also have a keen eye capturing picture perfect sceneries, btw, what camera did you use to film this vlog?
I'm planning to have my first time solo trip in Baguio. Can you share your itinerary and expenses? Btw, I love your content. Hoping for you to upload more soon
I haven't visited my birthplace in almost a decade, and I've been scavenging vlog channels just to catch a glimpse of how the place is going. I miss the feeling of contentment from Baguio and La Trinidad. 😭
