@@whitesides91 I wanted to go with atm pipes which were cheaper but raw tech was the only available option at the time. All other brands were on back order. I tried stage 2.5 but there was a lot more engine vibration on idle and also engine noise in the cabin so I switched back to stage 2. Do you have engine vibration and noise in the cabin when idling?
@@lompartiVibration no, noise maybe a little more than stock. I have a stock e70 x5d as well that I am in every now and then and it doesnt seem to be much more noisy than that. I bet rawtek fits much better. I had to shorten hangers on the VRSF kit to make it workable, fitment was terrible.
@@whitesides91 I’m surprised I got more vibration. Another weird thing with stage 2 my exhaust had a bit of a sweet smell and I could easily roll coal but with stage 2.5 the exhaust smelled so bad like sulfur almost and it’s pretty much impossible to roll coal in stage 2.5. How does your exhaust smell? Are you able to roll coal?
I have the identical vehicle (35d) that made the identical whistling sound. Soon thereafter came "engine failure" message with reduced power. What was the problem? How did you fix it?
The whistling you are hearing in this video is because the vehicle is deleted (no DPF) and that is the turbos. Your potential whistle could be from numerous things. Vacuum leak is likely.
Lol just like mine, same sound, same smoke, same alpine white and continental tires and hitch. And same brake squeek! lol
Yep, same😂
I purchased a X5 35d already deleted. Unfortunately I'm unsure of the stage tune. Is there a way to find out?
I don’t think so. But, you could probably check with the main tuners and supply your vin, they may be able to confirm
❤
What tune are you running? I have full delete with rawtech pipes and malone stage 2.
Malone 2.9 !
VRSF pipes. I’d like to go rawtek
