So many parts of this video had me screaming internally, but as an avid tea drinker I think the biggest one was the tea steeping-you’re only supposed to put the teabag in for a few minutes otherwise it gets super bitter and you had it in the entire time you made the second batch😭😂 thank you for the chaos froggy, happy 400k!!
Literally lmao I was laughing so hard at that. Like girl there’s instructions on the back of the tea bag package most of the time lol I’m sure it tasted super bitter. At least the kiwi boba were good!

Raven, dry ingredient measuring cups are different from wet ingredient measuring cups! The red heart ones you use should only be used for dry stuff like flour and sugar. You should get some wet ingredient measuring pitchers!
I bake all the time and never knew that :o
@@TiGERGiGGLES they're not super different, but if you find that you're not that happy with the results of your bakes, it could be why. If you're in a pinch it isn't a big deal, but its good to be as accurate as possible when baking!
I've always used the same for both wet and dry, never had an issue before 🤷♂ thx for the info tho

Tip for measuring precisely: Use the flat end of a butter knife to level out the measuring cup. Just slide the flat end right over the cup, and make sure you are doing over the bag of whatever you’re trying to measure or a bowl.

i've only ever had boba once because i live in a very rural area and it was actually strawberry with kiwi popping boba too!! even though you had a hard time, maybe you can give it another try sometime with the leftover ingredients. i'm sure you'd be better at it with practice 💕💕🐸 thank you for always entertaining us, congrats on 400k!!

Ok I just want to say raven is a queen at cooking I have a video idea recreate your character in animal crossing irl!
If you ever feel like making boba again, just know that it takes practice and multiple attempts to make something well that you've never made before! (And fails can sometimes still taste good even if imperfect in my experience haha) Totally normal for it to not turn out perfect esp for a first try. I think they turned out very well for a first try. If you want to do it again, maybe try looking for a boba tea recipe for the tea part itself? I think most boba flavors have more than just tea and sugar? And as others have said, seeping tea for a shorter period and combining the sugar while the tea is still hot would probably give better results. As a final note-making a cooking video where things dont go perfectly can be more entertaining and relatable! So even if you considered the boba a fail, the video definitely wasn't! :) I've never made homemade boba and this makes me want to try it out sometime.
*screams in british* Raven if you do this again. Heres some tips atleast for the tea so you can use the popping pearls atleast.
1. Steep the tea for a minute max.
2. Add the sugar why the water is warm, helps not only dissolve the sugar but also helps flavour the tea.
3. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar, mix. Sip. If you believe you need more repeat this step.
4. Add the pearls either before the tea or last. Wait for the tea to cool if you like. There is special cold brew teas for that. Normal teas when turn cold turn bitter. Though so keep that in mind.
Im british, but i didnt even know cold brew teas exist. THANKZ >:D

I think an easier way to make the frog shape would be to make a small, slightly flattened ball and use a toothpick to make a dent between the eyes :)
