Just did starter replacement on my 2008 750Li. One thing I would recommend is to drain the coolant and disconnect the upper radiator hose, it will be under lots of tension so its better to disconnect it. Generally pay attention to hoses around the engine. Getting the heat shield out and back in is hard as hell. But doable. My starter stuck in always on position, only way to stop it from spinning was to disconnect the battery. Had to replace it. Thanks for the video!
Was you getting a clicking sound at all to know it was the starter? Because I had problems with it starting now it doesn't make no sound at all just wondering
